This happened to my Y pipe. You can get the flex replaced, it cost me £130 though which is as much as a new one i think

+1 At the end of the day you can still get to 60mph in a banger on most roads, plus I have loads of mates who have crap cars who run on crap tyres and dont get it serviced untill something fails and they have to. I am a young driver and yes i admit I do occasionally exceed the speed limit on a nation speed limit road (dual carrigeway etc) but it think its the idiots who are always overtaking on 30mph single carriageway roads in residential areas that need to be (usually clio sport drivers) -
You can borrow my car for a week if you need a test car (wanted to get in there first )

Hope so Basically some of the 10 points you need to solder onto are slightly small! Ah okay. Also (sorry for all the Qs) why is the Zed mapping so expensive? Is it just to cover the initial setup costs or is there more work involved than other cars?

Oh.. does anybody know a good insulator for the phone ding a ding a ding noise? Its just for when I'm using the iPhone satnav and EDGE is in use instead of 3g. I'm mounting my phone in the cubby and could do with insulating it.

Ok, may not be of use to anyone but for a while now I've been looking for a way to have an aux in on my Pioneer DEH P77MP head unit. Pioneer say you need a CDRB-10 that plugs into your IP Bus input. Well anyway, they are about £75 BUT I bought THIS http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0324741629 (IP-BUS to RCA cable) for about £5 delivered. Got it today and it works perfectly with my iPhone 3g for ALL audio. (mp3/phone/satnav/etc..) Cant see any reason to buy the official Pioneer converter, I dont think it does anything unless you have a CD changer as well.
