I've left all my details with BP along with a letter I wrote explaining the situation, so will see how it goes with dealing the owner first, else I will approach BP customer services. Luckily it hasn`t damanged any of the paintwork - thank god. As for the plastic clip Nick, it was missing when I bought the car I'm afraid. Is 'bunging' the hole a possible option then? Do you have to buy a specific bung? Thx

Morning people, Basically I'm having a nightmare with things at the moment Read on for a rant... Bought the Zed 3 months ago, at which point the guy I got it from was in the middle of sorting a new radio as the current bose skipped. Whilst this has been sorted I've had no radio as the one in there is a temporary replacement, which isn`t bloody coded. This has been going on for 3 months now!!! Anyway, so this morning I take it to the garage he bought the car from to finally get the radio swapped with a reconditioned one - but even then they can't promise that their guy can recode it, just that it won't skip. So it looks like i'll still have to pay to get it done at a Nissan dealer. So, anyway, I thought I'd give the car a clean before taking it in, but was running really late and didn`t have time to go to my usual hand car wash place, so when I was filling up at the BP garage decided to pop it in the wash there. I specifically asked the guy if it would be fine on the zed and of course he said yes.... I was sat in the car whilst it did the drying cycle and suddenly hear the screeching of metal, and looked behind me to see the drying arm just ripping and bending the whole rear wiper arm off! Pic attached I've left all my details with the BP garage, but doubt they'll be willing to compensate me at all - and am now left with a wiper at 90 degrees to what it should be All very upsetting really - especially as I was only getting it cleaned because of the other problem which should have been sorted weeks ago, and wasn`t my fault either. I'm pretty livid. So, after this rant (which is rare for me!) does anyone know where I can get a new wiper from, without costing me an arm and a leg. Are they easy to fit? Any help would be gratefully received, and help improve my day!

I'm having a big of a nightmare at the moment trying to sort a new stereo on Warranty for my Zed. Looks like the garage have agreed to swap it with a new one but are going on about not having anyone to recode it, which is dragging the whole process out. How simple is this? Can I get my local Nissan dealer to sort it and how much would they charge? When you turn it on, I presume it just says 'secure' and then needs some magic working to get it back online. If anyone can help Id appreciate it - I cant do without a stereo for much longer!

I've had the Z for a fair few weeks now (53 plate), but I've been so busy I've not had the chance to really give it a good old clean and wax and take some shots. Luckily was down at the folks this weekend and put it right - Prize for the gayest shot ever taken?? Loving the car (not the petrol prices!) - only problem is the radio still doesn`t work as it's not been coded. Guy I bought it off is trying to get a replacement out of the garage he bought it from on their 6 month warranty as it skips, and they're being right awkwards arses about the whole thing Real shame as it's not quite the same driving with no chunes - especially on long journeys. F

On this subject - does anyone have a problem that when they have their lights on and go to indicate, it's quite easy to roll the headlight switch at the same time by accident and just turn them off. I've done this a couple of times now!

I've been - loved it. Stayed in a place caled the Pelican on the front. It's a boutique hotel owned by Diesel - would really recommend it! Got a good deal online too, so wasn`t too expensive. http://www.pelicanhotel.com/ As for the place, depends what you're into. Good nightlife but can be quite elitist. The art deco aspect of things is great for a bit of sight seeing.

My mate bought a panasonic 1080p, the 42thpz80 which is their brand new model He got it for a steal at about 850 quid from a local harrogate store. Says it's amazing. I have a panny 42px70 and love it too. It's the best TV for SD I've seen, as I don't have Sky.

I know I'm only new around here, but I guess that's good as I hit a certain demographic.
