  1. Removed You would get sacked for playing that in most work places. Not really the sort of thing that needs posting here. Edited by moderating team.
  2. Great quote that. Mines £1000 with Admiral, 6 yrs no claims and I'm 27. Annoying
  3. http://videolog.uol.com.br/video?367135 Very stylised, but exciting nonetheless
  4. There's a whole load of info on this on the forum if you do a search. Have fun reading it all
  5. Co-incidentally mine sold on ebay about an hr ago for £220 + postage for a rough idea of prices. Good luck with sale.
  6. Thanks for the replies all. It seems to have just fixed itself - stopped coming on about lunchtime today. Hopefully it won't rear it's ugly head again!
  7. Here's my offering - what calendar would be complete without pink flowers and ivy! Love the photo too z-boy - really tough shot to pull off well.
  8. Hi all, I was just in town and the air bag warning light started flashing on the dash. I did a quick search on here and saw there was a way to reset it. I've followed the steps, bit it doesn`t seem to have worked. I just wanted to make sure I ws doing it right before looking for anotehr solution: 1 - turned the ignition from off to on 2 - Waited for about 5 secs for the warning light to go off and then immeditely turned the ignition back to the off position 3 - waited for 3-4 seconds 4 - repeated steps 1-3 two more times (3 in total) 5 - After waiting the 3-4 seconds on the final go, turned the ignition back to on. the light still flashes Any ideas? All help appreciated! Thanks Alex
  9. Obviously too late now, but if you need any web help in the future, I run a web agency. Links in the sig. I'll do work in exchange for parts! Good luck getting it live in the meantime!
  10. You went to Uni at 16? Were you some kind of child prodigy?
  11. Congrats getting it sorted God knows where people get their money from these days. When I was 21/22 I was driving around in a 400quid Renault 5, along with all my mates who had similarly cheap cars. The thought of owning a 13k car and the associated running costs would`t have even been considered. Did you lot go to Uni, or work straight out of school?
  12. Finally getting my stereo replaced this morning after 3 months of silence and listening to radio 1 on the way to work!
  13. Bought that one above for my dad for xmas. To be honest, it's ok but nothing special. Main thing is the speed - it's sloooow, and if you have a lot of slides to get through you'll probably throw the thing out of the window. I actually don't think it's seen the light of day since some initial xmas day testing. Just my two cents worth
  14. Thanks very much for the link, appreciated. This new stereo actually has nothing wrong with it, i.e. it doesn`t skip. It just needs pairing with the ECU - surely that can be done cheaper? My last question would be, that after a bit of reading around it seems a lot of people recommend just ditching the BOSE and going aftermarket. Would people say that's maybe the best options, as the BOSE is likely to skip again down the line? Thx again
  15. Well took the car in a few days ago and then popped stereo out, so they could supposedly get it working. Just had a call from them though saying their guys can't get the 'secure' message off, and are saying that they'll need to send it back to Clarion to get a reconditioned one back. All good - except they're quoting me 450 quid for the privilege! I just don't understand all this I read on here the HU is linked to the key fob, so because the HU is a new one (replaced by the guys I got the car from, as old HU skipped) it obviously doesn`t recognise the key fob that originally came with the car. But isn`t this a simple to rectify? It must happen a lot no? It's driving me insane! If anyone could shed any light that would be fantastic!
  16. Thanks Phil, Is it something I'd be able to replace myself with the help of a few tools? Ta
  17. I know - I was in a real rush and didn`t want to take the car in dirty so thought I'd chance it this once. have never put a car through one for as long as I can remember - and won't ever be doing again that's for sure! New blade and arm is £66 quid from Nissan, so not too bad. Will have a look at current one when I get car back later to see if I can bend it back. Might just take it off for now.
