  1. Welcome bud. I hope you can make it to the Wales drive this weekend, fantastic day out.
  2. Got to agree with the above. Definitely something wrong. Most of the heat comes from the base - or it should. On full setting the heat is very noticeable, half setting is quite mild. If you can't really tell on full after 10 minutes then it's definitely broken. The slight warmth you noticed will probably have been you warming the seat - body temp being above 30 degrees. Try connections like Mike says, then the fuse, otherwise you've got a bill coming your way. Can't belive you hardly use them, mine are permanently on during the colder months, just switched to half already. Mind you I've got a roadster and it's \ bit chilly with just a frozen bit of canvas covering the car in winter !
  3. Looks great and sounds like you'r really getting great handling. OEM suspension is too soft but since mine's a daily and often long drives your set up sounds just a bit too hardcore for me. I was thinking of KWs variant 2 or 3 to improve handling. lowering only slightly and keeping a bit of damping in there. When my credit stops getting crunched that is !
  4. STILL FOR SALE - I need to get rid at Wales meet 'cos it's taking up room in my garage. £40 ! Got to be worth it for a £130 brand new unit.
  5. Sent you a small file by email, it may help you. If that doesn't then just pull the stereo out a bit and get all the codes. Take it to Ford to prove you own it and give them the details from the stereo. They'll give you the code. Happened to me - although they are quite easy to get round asI'm sure the email will show.

Yeh, sorry. Bit too clever/subtle for my own good sometimes. Had a drink and a smoke when I was posting - never good as I think i'm being really clever but then realise after that may not be the case.
  7. God love ESR, Phil and son are the men excellent at making 350'z better and bank balances lighter - ours not there's obviously. Still never spent a penny with them I didn't begrudge, unlike my local Nissan dealers.....but that's for another time.

Excellent, that really made me laugh!!! I can just picture some poor pedestrian crossing between cars as I pull away!! Actually it could be really serious and i know I'd forget to turn it off - I think I will leave it to the strip boys although the pyromaniac in me would love it! That's just rude. Tell the pyromaniac to get out while you're on the computer. I'm a liberal bloke but that's just more info than I need

If that's an offer then thank you very much, just let me know which weekend your free
  10. Autoglym cabriolet cleaner/protector. Use from new ( although clearly just the protector first time as it should be clean already ). Polymer bonds with fabric keeping it very waterproof ( rain just beads off ) and also protecting it from the elements - acidic rain and strong UV can weaken the fabric as well as causing it too fade to a dull grey. Easy to use but keep it off the paintwork and windows when using.
  11. Looks great. Forced me into action - Finally taken the plunge and ordered some Blackfire carnuaba wax today. Layering over Blackfire Wet Diamond which I normally use is supposed to give amzing results. Have been delaying it due to the cost but finally given in as I lust for more and more shine.

With Wales coming up and a very average 350Z I'm soooo tempted - can you imagine the fireball from the K1 I've got fitted :kicking
  13. Agree with everyone else's comments. The dark tint on the glass really adds to the overall look. V. cool. Are the replacement windows or have they been professionally filmed ?
  14. if you are thinking of LED brake lights I have one for sale. brand new in original Nissan box. It's a nearside or back left if you prefer. £50 and I can bring it to Wales. That way you only need to get the right hand side from Nissan or wherever and save yourself some cash. The cheapest I've seen them is £125 each so it should save you abot £70.
  15. Count me in - got to give the guy a good show. I'll come down for the 'event' and then get back home for the final polish ready for Sunday. I'll follow M13KYF down. Let me know time of first meet. That travel lodge would probably be good knowing the area. Then it's just a very quick blast to the hotel. 20mins easy.
  16. The traction Control switch is bottom right of the steering wheel, next to the roof switch (in a roadster ). Not that I have enough talent to switch it off !! Apart from that, even as a Zed owner/lover ( spiritual sense only before you mickey takers get to respond ), I think it should be better powered but this is due to the over-weight design. Making it lighter would obviously give better power to weight ( which is the ultimate measure IMO ) and improve handling no-end. I think the handling is pretty good but the back end likes to go light on floaty bends which is v.bad if your as average a driver as me. I'm down for coilovers as soon as money allows.
  17. Brilliant post. Not much use to me though. Let Phil talk me into a K1 exhaust and can't hear a f*&%$£g thing apart from that no matter how loud the ICE.
  18. Looks good. Auto Glym are a firm favourite of mine and have been for years. Just recently though I have been treating the Zed to some Blackfire Wet Diamond and Menzerna Full Molecular Jacket as Autoglym were missing something top end. This could be worth trying though. What's the likely everyday price ?
  19. looks really good. superb job. love the alacantra.
  20. Like it. Copied and mailed out to suitable friends. Thanks.
  21. Welcome to the club ! Don't forget intakes look cool but don't give you any performance improvements due to the nasty 350z ECU which just cancels out any changes you make.
  22. Looks soooooooo good. What's the make/model etc ?
  23. Me too on. Dry marker pen repaired it OK but I have some carbon trim covers on order.
