    Focus ST

Hope can persuade her. Then get the Mountune map on it and you'll enjoy driving it more than the Zed
  2. These are heavily enhanced though aren't they? I know carbon black looks very dark blue in some lights but I've never seen it look like that. Looks like saturation has been whacked up full on them. Not knocking the pics at all just curious.
  3. Anyone using phrases like "This growling machine" and "no shortage of horses to power you down a road" must be avoided
  4. With a bit of photoshop enhancing to make it look bluer than it really is
  5. Just be patient mate, they will come up and people on here have got some right bargains. It is worth holding out for the right one and as I say you will easily get a GT for that so its worth waiting unless you find an absolutely mint, low mileage non GT.
  6. car looks great, just a few simple mods that work. still miss my Focus RS, so much fun for hooning around in!
  7. I get 24-28 in my religiously but use mostly a-roads and motorways. I think saying you can easily get 32mpg on longer whilst its not untrue from my experience you have to really try to get it into the 30's and any stab of the throttle soon gets you back in to the 20's. I've had 2 ep3's and to be honest there wont be much in it, the Type R will be better overall but it will be fairly minimal when you work out the extra fuel cost. They aren't too hideous on fuel but they have a big tank so its pretty depressing filling up near £100 each week.
  8. I'd hold out for a GT spec car. They give you leather amongst other bits. Much better for re-sale and there should be no shortage of decent cars about.
  9. I had a 120d m sport before my Zed. Remapped at 210bhp and it was surprisingly fast. In some situations it could easily stick with the Zed. RWD means its still has that element of fun about it. I could not get below 42mpg no matter how hard I drove it. Just make sure you go for a 2007 onwards as they are much more efficient.
  10. I find autocar excellent, so you dont read reviews on cars you are looking at buying? Dont get me wrong I would never buy a car on someone else's alone, view which I why I find it funny when I read the constant "what car should I buy?" posts. Steve Sutcliffe and Chris Harris are two motoring journalists I have a lot of respect for. Not so much on the Vicky Parrot
  11. Cobblers. I was given one to try in comparison to mine and and it felt little different. Get more "improvement" from simply changing tyres to MPSS from the feed back on here. http://www.autocar.c...370z-gt-edition Do you know that Vicky Parrot actually drove the 'new improved' 370z and even if she did has she driven the 'old' 370z... I think if I was in the market I would take Colin's opinion over any generic car review on the net If he says cobblers then I say cobblers with knobs on I'm merely backing up what I said I'd read, I've seen a few reviews that say the same thing as I was looking at buying one. I'm not knocking Colin's opinion in the slightest.

  13. The suspension was revised to suit U.K roads. Never driven them back to back but the motoring press say it was a big improvement.

Are you just putting the front bumper without the rest of the kit? The front is bad enough on its own but at least with the full kit it sort of looks in keeping.
  15. If its a daily drive or you are really into your driving / track days then get the coupe. If its just a weekend toy then the roadster will probably be more fun. Personally the coupe just looks so much better that I'd never consider the roadster.
  16. They are nismo U.S. speak to Tarmac on here, he sells very good reps.
  17. You'll have to print that colour I would think but I reckon it look awful if you are trying to make it match your seats. What you wrapping?
  18. Abbey Motorsport - where are you based?
  19. Can of red bull in each cup holder
  20. I think you're missing a link?
  21. Needs some 19's. swapping already?
  22. These posts are just pointless, go and drive both and make your own mind up. Would you really buy a car based on other peoples opinions alone? I've owned 3 350z and had an S2K last year. I didnt get on with the Honda in general as I found it too tinny and found the power delivery unsuited to modern roads. Having said that when I was in the mood for a good drive, it was glorious. The combo of that engine in the vtec zone and surely one of the best manual shifts ever really puts a smile on your face. They are both good choices so go and make the final decision with a good drive of each.
  23. Opposite for me. Friends have had navaras and the turbos have gone. My brother has run hilux's for years and I know in his farming group they are by far the most respected.
