Yeah, I too had a high powered fwd car....... my civic type R was 290bhp and handled the power amazingly well; it just all depends on the chassis setup....... (New Focus RS comes to mind) something I feel Vaux overlooked and opted for a bhp number in lieu of how the car would actually handle. Imagine it would be easily rectified with a few suspension mods tho' 290bhp in a type r? EP3? Was it supercharged? Always fancied doing that to mine but was never brave enough

I'd like to see a remapped ST get to 100mph in the same time as a v8 m3

i think with some big black 19's and a good suspension drop it would look great. Doesn't quite look finished to me, but certainly unique and i think the black and sunset paint combo works really well

You cant really put the Abarth in the same category as a 350z, Scirocco, TT, RX8 all of which are sports coupes that cost twice as much as the super mini hatchback Abarth when new And i totally disagree with the build quality, in fact everyone that has been in the car comments how well made it seems, nice heavy clunks from the doors, very stable at motorway speeds etc. Mine has the uprated suspension, brakes, remap so its 160bhp and 170lb ft of torque and weighs just over 1000kg. It is therefore more than nippy and although on paper the figures aren't that impressive, for overtaking and out of roundabouts it is far punchier than the Zed (i appreciate turbo cars will be) but it really is impressive. So to sum it up, i am loving the experience of a small car, that costs me nothing to run yet puts a smile on my face as much as the Zed did.

1st car gets my vote, sounds much better than the others!

i had a Leon Cupra R for about a year before the Zed, awesome car and never missed a beat. The only problem was when it was when it came back from Revo with a remap and i put it through a hedge was incredibly quick though!

i've got an oem backbox you can have, its done nearly 30k so its not shiny or anything but it was fine when i took it off. I live in Cheshire so if your not far feel free to come and take it

What 911 would you get for 54 plate Zed money? Just interested as I've driven a few 911's (993 and 996) and I was very impressed with both

Congrats Cookie Abarth Forum, it isn't a fiat Picked it up today and loving it, it couldn't be any more different from the Zed but its gives me the fun factor and 38mpg so thats me happy
