the nismo is neither round nor oval, its a sort of in between isn't it

surely round isn't much different from oval and if you did it round it would look standard where as now it looks a bit different. Slash cut changes the sound alot and in my opinion makes them raspy which is the reason i went for oval.

i had exactly the same problem mate, i had a custom exhaust made (very similiar style actually) and asked for it to be not too loud, when i first got it is was very quiet and i was dissapointed but now its run in (3 months later) it sounds lovely and is perfect for me, great at low revs and not loud at all when cruising. Give it time!

its happened to me once when i was test driving one, i tried to launch it off the line and basically i got axle tramp and i got an all mighty whack from the rear suspension as it went over an uneven surface on the road. never again, i thought id cracked the chassis when i heard the noise.

do a search, probably the most common fault on the zeds. Nothing to worry about but is curable, worth taking it back especially if you got it from a nissan dealer.

boss are @*!# mate, you'd be better off either getting a better brand double din without the screen for the same money or spending more and buying a good screen.
