I have no experience with Do-luck filters, however I regularly sell and fit the Cosworth and HKS performance panel filters to the HR air boxes and have had no fitment issues or customer complaints. Alex.

Tight fit is normal, however excessive force should not be used or you will damage the filter. Reposition drop in panel filter and try again. Alex

Was chatting to Dreadnought today and I mentioned about the possibility of this event being cancelled as well due to low numbers, however they have stated that this event will go ahead whatever, as they require some serious track time for there race cars prior to a championship event at Knockhill on Sat 10th Sept. Am I going to be getting some fire breathing MG's up my chuff on the track then? I would not worry to much about them

Well your clutch is definately on its way out mate and should be replaced. As regards your proposed trip, if you go easy then you may be okay, however it all depends on how badly your clutch is worn. From your description in your original post it could be numerous issues causing your noise and any suggestions would purely be guesswork and could be misleading. Like you suggest, best to get it on a ramp and have a good poke around. Also if you use the search button then you should find quite a few pointers Please do post up your findings as it may help others in the future with a similar noise. Alex.

Graeme, Quite an easy job mate but best done on a ramp. Soak the nuts and bolts/studs overnight with WD 40 or similar. Good ratchet, sockets and extensions will be required. The O2 sims screw into the rear of the cat or de-cat and then the O2 sensor screws into the O2 sim. The de-cat pipes may have them built in, so you may not require them. Alex.

They are interchangable except for the cats. If you wish to use the HR cats then you will have to fit HR headers. Alex.
