Alignments should be done on a yearly basis at least, if not 6 monthly if the roads you travel on are of poor quality or you do a lot of miles.

I would imagine it's flashed to the ROM, so soft resetting of the ECU (i.e. taking the battery out) will not affect it.

There is no 'next level'. This was a private sale, the OP didn't do anything like due diligence on the car, and they've bought an absolute snotter. Caveat emptor. There is no right of return, no reason for the seller to give any refund or even a partial refund. The contract is completed and appears to be completely legal. If I was the seller, and received such a phone call, I would have to think very carefully about my reply. I mean, once I'd finished laughing of course. Just because the guy you bought from gave you your money back, doesn't mean that he legally had to do so.

The OP bought a Zed with over 100k, with a CEL and after the seller admitted they only carried out a basic service 18months ago. He got it for around £4k. Buy cheap, buy twice. Tbh if you're not going to carry out the most basic of checks, then I struggling to find much sympathy.

One team dominating is fine, it's when one driver does that it gets boring. Seb, Schumi etc. Having Lewis and Nico go at it all season has been amazing.

Why didn't you ask? Surely asking a basic question like "Has the engine made any odd knocking noises?" is just plain common sense? If he says no then it's misrep and you can sue for your money back, if he says yes then you walk. Caveat emptor, as long as he didn't lie you have zero comeback. Withholding information is not misrep on a private sale. Did it not make any noises on the test drive? How long was the test drive?

Looks good matey On a serious note though, don't ever try and use one to put out any kind of fire on your car, they last far too short a time and you put yourself in more danger than if you just ran and called the fire brigade. I tried one once for a laugh as I had a spare one, did next to nothing and was gone in seconds. Bloody scary!
