  1. 8 mins is a long time to be kissing your arse goodbye.
  2. Agreed, I'd go with the Black Hole although I'm not a fan of HD Wax: I'd go for a small pot of Dodo Juice Supernatural instead.
  3. And yet, they didn't remotely try to help anyone out with the issues mentioned. No-one needs to bad mouth them, they can do that all by themselves.
  4. Any compound will enhance, it depends on how you're using it though By hand, I assume?
  5. Congrats to the new rules brought in after 9/11 to make sure people can't get into the cockpit then!
  6. Even at £7950, you have to expect someone to knock you down a couple of hundred at least, so in reality the end net loss could've been as low as £250...
  7. Indeed, I'm very keen to hear Richard Porter's thoughts on all this.
  8. Hadn't even noticed that it wasn't a revup, just saw 2006 and figured it must've been,. Yeah, I'd have snatched his hand off too. As far as unwanted cars go, a silver DE that falls into the highest VED band with zero extra power or the nice interior is right up there with the best (worst?) of them. You still haven't removed that silly tax thing btw. All you're doing now is drawing attention to the fact it's the low power/high tax thing.
  9. Why would they be? There was no complainant. Unless Tymon makes a statement, there is no case to consider here. More p*ss-poor journalism.
  10. One day I can live with
  11. Given that all BBC panel shows must now include a woman, I'd be amazed if there wasn't a female presenter this time. Which is a shame, as I'd rather see the job go to someone perfect for the role, not perfect just because they have a pair of tits.
  12. Jay Leno is a great shout! Can already do presenting perfectly, hugely popular with the Yanks, and knows more about decent cars and driving in general than pretty much anyone I can think of.
  13. Read his books? If not, you really should, they're compelling stuff and give not only a great inside into a pretty clever individual, but he goes on about his cars and knobbing Billie as well. Well worth picking up
  14. So the team he works incredibly well with on the radio don't count? He'd be excellent, but I can understand why he doesn't want the gig. Bear in mind whoever does it won't be doing with with May or Hammond, as I can't see them coming back either.
  15. That's what I was thinking.
  16. Did you try and haggle him?
  17. I can't think of anyone I'd want to do the job less. I like the stuff CH does now, I wouldn't want him doing TG and besides, everyone would hate him because they'd have no idea who he was and he just isn't JC. The first person to get that gig needs either massive personality (Chris Evans) or a healthy disregard for their career (anyone else), as its a sure-fire way to end it. It's like Moyes following on from Fergie.
  18. That's not being politically correct. That's just a smart business decision. Of course you need paperwork, especially in a public institution like the BBC.
  19. I don't see how this has anything to do with political correctness. JC thumped a colleague in the face. As his contract was up in a few days anyway, they decided not to renew it instead of sacking him. Job's a carrot. If you sack someone, you need to have a lot of paperwork. If you decide not to renew a contract, you have to do nothing. Easy & cheap solution.
  20. Well, at least you're honest!
  21. Go bed them in again. 50-30 light pressure x5 70-30 med pressure x5 100-40 as hard as you can before ABS x5 ...leaving a nice cool down gap between them where you don't touch the brakes for a couple of miles.
  22. OH NOE IT'S NOT HE'S BEEN SACKED AND HAS LIEK LOST HIS JOB INNIT HA HA HAHA STUPID BBC LOLLERCOPTORS
  23. Not you Doogy, I think you know the crack by now
  24. Have you followed the instructions on the link? Either of you, I mean.
  25. Oh no, more months of pointless speculation
