I don't see how that works. You admitted you had an accident, fine, you'll have to note that with other insurers. However, you have not made a CLAIM on your policy and so they should issue you with the amount of NCB that you have. If they won't, then I'd be speaking to the ombudsman pretty sharpish. Perhaps Dan from AF who is on here could look into this for you?

It depends on what you want to achieve as well: Beware of companies who claim a 100% correction in a single day, as that just isn't possible. Don't believe people who tell you it is!* That said, a single pass with a light compound can achieve wonders, but again you have to understand what you want to gain vs what you want to spend. As Alex says though, best thing to do is to give them a call. *Well, unless the paint is brand new or it's a motorbike, of course!

The OEM chassis brace stays on regardless of whether you fit an aftermarket one as well. If yours is rusted through, replace that first before adding anything else. I had the full set of Summit underbody braces on mine. Incredible things, made a good chassis into a great one.
