Ok people, looks like i might be making the pilgrimage to this! Think i'm going to b&b in fort augustus. My gf will probably be coming too, so we'll maybe make a long weekend of it and do some walking too. I'm a touch nervous about booking this, in case it jinxes the Zeds arrival! It's only supposed to arrive 4-8 weeks prior, so will probably be it's first big run out. Incidently, certain partys would like to enquire as to the probable number of ladys attending - i've already noted Little Miss.

Yeah, that's why I'm probably gonna keep the old Polo after i get the Zed. As previous owners have found out, Zeds don't carry bikes very well. I would recommend investing in a good roof rack if you have another car, i've only got a Halfrauds rear rack, and it forces me to access the boot via the rear seats

Me too, looking forward to a few 7stanes trips once i get back home. The Spesh looks good, hope you get some good use out of it. Any good trails down your way? Currently got a '05 Giant XTC2, with some better forks and a shorter stem. Here it is in my hotel room/home at the minute, looking a bit grubby! Only cost 30euros to bing it on the plane with KLM.

+1 for cannon here too. I've got an A70 - kind of compact with full manual settings. It too has taken a beating, and taking AA batterys (i used rechargeables) and regular CF cards has been super cheap to run. Plug and play with windows, no special software required. Screen is a bit glitchy now, but after reading that above i think i might try a "repair"

You would be well advised to get it on a bodyshop jig and check the chassis isn't bent. Professional help of some kind must surely be mandatory?

Love the idea of keeping it NA Adam I would much rather do that than the turbo route. The jealousy is made ten times worse by the fact that the Z is so hard to tune without spending mega-bucks! Maybe one day....
