  1. Surely it won't be heavy enough to get all that power down?
  2. hehe, i am such a geek Never programmed a bbc micro at school then? I think you have to be of a certain age!
  3. Here is a free email virus checker - It contains only two lines of code! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- 10 Do not open unsolicited email attachments. 20 Goto 10. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
  4. i did pm you, but ive been away with work (training for new job) My gf went over and picked it up for me, fit is good, well pleased! Cap too. Thanks a lot! i will feel guity wearing it without associated machinery!
  5. Nice pics martin, i think a lot more good driving could be had round here if the roads were more than 6 feet wide!
  6. Ive always used linksys stuff, never had any problems, has much better signal strength than my BT hub, especially in a old stone house like mine. Just remember to keep them away from radiators and other heat sources, they don't like it!

    My Shortlist

Were you perhaps expecting an unbiased opinion? I love (old) alfas too, but a least a Zed will be worth something in a few years time! There hasn't been a dynamic alfa since they stopped doing RWD.
  8. "jetfighter aircrafts" Thats a greats Zeds though!
  9. Arrived safe and sound Martin, it's sooooper!
  10. yeah, two cars would attract less attention than 10 anyway. Especially if i'm three miles behind in the polo!
  11. Cheers martin! Should keep the savings on the straight and narrow

    Bike Rack

this whole issue occured to me as well actually, being another MTB'er. I think i'm just going to try and keep running the polo as a general driver, unless my gf decides to buy something. ever. Andyk
  13. Don't they give you more money off if you're not giving them another car to get rid of?
  14. Top bombing fella! I watched the sun from work today, managed to get the old polo washed in semi darkness when i got home though. Roll on summer.
  15. I don't think i can afford all that! And there's no way on this earth i'm paying £1k for a satnav that can't do post codes! I might conside the gt pack if i can haggle like £2k of the list price! Anyone else got decent money off new?
  16. On the options list it is a seperate item, so in theory you can have sat nav on a non-gt. (for just over a grand! )
  17. [How can you stand next to that and not smile I know where there is a very nice black one for sale http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11221 I wasn't ready for the camera dammit! I have a pic where i'm laughing with the dealer, but it makes me look a bit mental, so i left it off! i have decided that if i'm having one, it'll be a new one. It appeals too much, don't ask why - cos i don't know!
  18. Went down my local nissan dealers today for my first wee spin in a Zed. The weather was distinctly rubbish for driving a 300bhp RWD car, but i just took it (fairly) easy and all was good. The coversation with the dealer was something like; "How long have i got?" "Hmm, Did you have a route in mind?" "Not really, just going to follow my nose." "Two hours long enough?" "............ err, i think that'll be fine!" "Here's the keys, have fun." " " http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg70/AK350Z/IMG_1871.jpg' alt='IMG_1871.jpg'>[/img] Put a good few miles in, and managed to visit one of my friends who has just bought a Clio R27. He was most jealous! The Zed proved to be ballistic, and infinitely more solid and refined than other quick cars i've driven (just a 225bhp TT and my mates MR2 turbo to be honest!). Well, the Audi was well built, but it was like driving though a letterbox, the Zeds cabin is much more airy. Enough raving, it will be mine - oh yes, it will be mine! lol. Andyk.
  19. I know the house, i bet someone's paid a fortune for that site! Certainly won't be "affordable housing!"
  20. Where did you try for your finance? Just the usual...my bank, Sainsburys bank, Alliance & leicester etc. Could have probably got the dealers finance but at about 11% no way I was even entertaining it when the highstreet rates are about half that. Neil According to my local Nissan dealer the APR of their finance is negotiable! Although i think it helps if you have a better quote from somewhere else. Andy.
  21. Hehe, with a bit of luck yes! I know nearly new would save a chunk of change, but a) i definatly want a MY07, and i'm planning on keeping it for a good while, so second hand value isn't that big a deal. Oh, and c) i don't think i've ever seen a second hand red one (i bet there's one on ebay now i've said that! ) The gt/non gt decision is made though. Andy.
  22. Right then, i am just thinking of getting my finances sorted out for an eventual Zed purchase. Obviously the options list is a litany of expense, but i quite fancy spec'ing the Nismo bodykit just save faffing about with bodyshops etc after delivery. Is this a bad choice? Yes i know i'm paying through the nose, but the convenience is quite compelling! I'm planning on a red non-gt as i dont fancy paying £2.3k when the seats are the only extras i'm interested in. Cheers, AndyK
