  3. Your Jedi mind tricks won't work on me marra!
  4. Wish i was coming Mike! hope you and Becks have a great day!
  5. Yeah, i learned a lot doing the claying. Did cause a few minor scratches here and there, you need to control yourself and not start taking big swipes! I was using the Bilt Hamber bar with water, must be an expensive job using QD with other bars. TBH the scratches will have been caused by using just water. You need the lubricants that are in QD or similar. If you dont want to use DQ, use car shampoo mixed with water. You need to keep the body wet and lubed so not to scratch it. Lesson learnt Yeah, will do next time i think. Was just following the distructions! I did make sure i used loads of water though.

  8. Big hours, but Collinite at work: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16738
  9. Had a few days downtime, so i hit the Zed hard with the long awaited full treatment! Full clay bar, Carlack 68, Collinite 915, allowed to go fully hard, and buffed by hand! X2 coats of wax on doors, roof, bonnent, front wings and bumper. Wheels removed and cleaned with Farecla and Autoglym SRP. Lost count of how many hours, but been doing a bit every day since monday. Over 20 i would say, mostly down to the clay and wax, the Zed's surfaces are huuggge. Everything now smooooth as a baby's proverbial!
  10. Don't expect to see much till after winter though!
  11. Your local chippies will be begging for mercy if you ever get to buy an Audi R8 V12 diesel then!
  12. I've got collinite, hence i don't think one day is long enough!

    GT-R

I think at that cost, a used 355 would look quite good!
  14. No, St. Bees! Must spend a bit of time locked up, as i think hes only put a few thousand miles on it. The top secret kit consisted of font bumper and skirts i think. He had the standard rear spoiler, and i cant remember if there was anything on the rear bumper. Will try to find a similar pic.
  15. Met Dougie today after our local dealer (Edgars) passed my details on as he wanted to see the nismo kit in person. He only lives a couple of miles away, so i've carded him (!) and hopefully he might come on and introduce himself properly. He has an silver '06 with a Top Secret bodykit, but wants to change it i belive, hence the viewing!
  16. Yep, an Atom. But which version? The latest supercharged version sounds like a TIE Fighter, awesome
  17. Surely a manual import would be just a few dollars more?
  18. Yeah, SRP is good stuff. If you are doing it by hand the cutting effect is very mild, and it fills quite well.
  19. it's a lot easier to just go to a meet you know
