I appreciate that Brakes Pads (£148.43) are not warranty due to wear and tear but when the discs (£688.10) wear down and needs replacing before the pads, that is unusual?? Certainly possible something may have been caught in there in the past, but sadly the onus will be on you to prove defect of materials etc. Might just have to give Phil a shout and save some cash over OEM prices.

Brakes not usually warrantied, wear and tear and all that! I'm pretty sure they are expressly exempt in the small print.

Just got back this afternoon, after 1050 miles and 26.6mpg apparently! First off, big thanks to Stew and Martin for sorting out an amazing drive out (320 miles sounds a bit short to me!). The weather could hardly have been better, and i had no idea roads that good existed on this side of the english channel Also thanks to Mike for sorting me out with all the car washing gear after a terribly dirty drive up on the friday Top food from the lovely ladies on saturday night, and Mark for showing me that the limiter is set much lower on the roadster than the coupe.
