  4. Oi matey were not posh like you and Fran!!! Hope you enjoyed the rest of your time up there? The funeral music in the B&B was'nt as bad on Monday morning was it! No, we just let it wash over us! Had a nice walk on monday (as per pics above) and a good night in Edinburgh tuesday. Bit wet in the afternoon though, had to happen eventually after the weekends luck

  10. I appreciate that Brakes Pads (£148.43) are not warranty due to wear and tear but when the discs (£688.10) wear down and needs replacing before the pads, that is unusual?? Certainly possible something may have been caught in there in the past, but sadly the onus will be on you to prove defect of materials etc. Might just have to give Phil a shout and save some cash over OEM prices.
  11. Brakes not usually warrantied, wear and tear and all that! I'm pretty sure they are expressly exempt in the small print.

  13. cost me £120 for about 1/5 of a bumper to fix some scratches. Dont skimp on paintwork, the prep is vital, and its the man hours that cost the money!
  14. Don't know about the make, but ignore the +hp claims, you wont get any The ECU cancels them out.
  15. Don't forget short sleeves and no jacket are compulsory in Newcastle, even if it's -15 outside and throwing a blizzard!

  18. Hi, i stepped up from a 1.4 polo, so i can tell you it's very easy to drive (fast) Much more special than any hot hatch, and rwd too!

  24. Just got back this afternoon, after 1050 miles and 26.6mpg apparently! First off, big thanks to Stew and Martin for sorting out an amazing drive out (320 miles sounds a bit short to me!). The weather could hardly have been better, and i had no idea roads that good existed on this side of the english channel Also thanks to Mike for sorting me out with all the car washing gear after a terribly dirty drive up on the friday Top food from the lovely ladies on saturday night, and Mark for showing me that the limiter is set much lower on the roadster than the coupe.
