Indeed a combination fo rock solide engineering and good service - simple idea really why don't others follow it!! Personally I had the same levels of service from toyota when I had my MR2 Roadster - I had the alloys replaced under warranty even though I had kerbed one of them - they said dont worry as the rest were corroded (only slightly btw) they would replace the set

to the forum Pete - wow bit of a car line up there! One of the guys on the forum (Marzman) has a Tiptronic Zed and he has made his own paddle shifts and taken it on drifting days sure he will be along soon to advise. You wont regret buying a Zed - I love mine

Well I have to be honest this is the first Bank holiday weekend where I am NOT working - they did ask me but for once I just wanted some time off! (Other than 5 hours helping to clean a Grand Vitara - see other post, washed my Zed and the van) we have done sod all except for a trip to the CoOp for cakes to have with our cups of tea while surfing t'forum!

I can see by the number of people online that you are either sat in the house as its tipping down outside (like here!) or you are bored or cant face sitting on a motorway traffic jam or being at B&Q!!! So what is everyone supposed to be doing this weekend (other than being a forum tart)

Oy Chris! you dont get the wrong idea mate - I dont care if its auto or manual I just was'nt interested in driving it at all- far too disapointing to look at in the first place. (Btw the paddles were not as good as yours mate - they looked like they had been styled by Lego!)

We did'nt have the time really Alex and to be fair I was'nt that interested in it - this one was an Auto model - with paddles Maybe another time just to see but I love the 350 too much to bother with it.

Jeeeeeeeeeeeeebus! I paid £15000 for my 06 GT Azure with 14k 4 months ago! On the 370 front; It looks too squint with the high headlights. Thats stealers for you!

We popped into Westway Nissan in Manchester today and lo... 370Z in that leccie Blue parked up on the forecourt. we were both really really Underwelmed - thats the best way to describe it - (sorry if anyone has ordered one - no disrepect to you) but for us it just looked like a modded 350Z! Thats it end of! That colour I love but again the mismatch in paint tone on the bumpers and body is aweful! The interior is just too busy - too many stupid dials and buttons - too cluttered! Is does seem bigger inside strangely and yes the materials generally looked better but.. the Faux Alcantara door trim just looked really naff and well frankly cheap. The salesman was quite good and let us start it up - it sounded nice when blipped but very mutted actually - ffs! Its a sports car not a family saloon! Funny he said oh there's not much difference really between the 350 and the 370 ! The lights are odd and date it badly! The fact that they are so near the inside of the body makes it look taller and fatter - which spoilt the line. Ok I am getting used to the roof line and yes it made the 350 look dated but no Sir 350 is far superior in overall styling - its a more pure shape the 370 is still a short ar**d Z4 Oh well at least we have seen one now close up. Sure it probably piddles on the 350 for handling but so what - loads of cars piddle on 350's but they look pants! One funny thing the Azure 350 next to is 2006 plate and they want £18K for it!

Your right Chris its good to see reasoned debate on here and see other peoples views and how their backgrounds and experiences have formed their opinions on life stuff! Dont think there are any chavs on here - they would'nt know how to type for a start or bovver! Damn I am getting old and hippy man - wish I still had my Splittie camper van

Someone just mentioned on the wireless ! Costco already had Christmas decorations in the past few weeks - I hate it when retailers do this - I know they buy out of season but it just spoils it for me!

Been watching this thread now for a while.......... Ok from my own perspective....... Lets try not to make wide generalisations about people in baseball caps who drive Vauxhall Corsas for example! Think we are all agree Chavs of any kind (these can also be high flying businessmen in top end Beemers remember!!) people who exibit low levels of respect for anybody let alone themselves! The 350Z is an odd car it does'nt have the right badge especially in this country - which is good in one way as people tend to leave them alone but the people who appreciate cars know how good they are. We have noticed an influx of new people to the forum and this just shows how good a job the mods have done of this club and also the friendly and respectful nature of the people on the forum. Ok sometimes an odd muppet turns up but well they are everywhere aren't they I mean look at the telly ! But just because your young and have £10K in your back pocket does'nt mean your going to automatcially dilute the Brand or club - the club will maintain high standard as it has continued to do so. The club will die if no new people come along like any club, think of the larger meets we will have! I understand and also worry about the idiots you sometimes see driving Zeds (people who just see it as a way of attracting attention to themselves) and not the bigger picture of the enjoyment that comes from owning one and meeting up with you lot and also like me logging on here every day to see how things are etc - if I just owned the car on its own - yes it would put a smile on my face but as I have mentioned on many occasions the car is made better by being part of this club and the top people that frequent it - its the club that will maintain standards and ensure that muppets dont spoil the fun for the rest of us. Even if its time to sell my Zed I will still belong to the club and still have my 350Z sticker in the van ! One last thing - dont let Chavs of any kind harrass you just continue to drive as normal in a safe manner - dont race them - just ignore them - its the attention they crave remember why feed it!
