  1. Suzuki Cappucino - cool she probably has it in her handbag (just remember to keep it uprigth otherwise you get oil pouring out all over her purse!)
  2. Unfortunately I was too keen to get it finished and go to bed to take any pictures. Needed to go to work in the morning No worries mate glad you got it sorted
  3. With all leather treatment you need to clean the leather first - usually a seperate cleaner - then dry it off properly and then apply small amounts of the Hide food. Depending how bad the leather - the longer you leave it on the seat the better. Then wipe off - be careful some hide food is greasier than others so if your into wearing white pants for example - dont! For a week at least just to let it bed itself in! If you have any other questions just send me a PM mate
  4. We all love our Zeds but this time of year when all the muppets are out on the roads just take that bit more care folks. Soon as it goes darker sooner and rains more often all hell breaks loose! Already this morning torrential rain ....heading in and 1 car perched on one wooden fencing in a field beside the M56 near the airport! So be careful leave the ESP switched on and check your wipers, washer bottle and tyres every week - its easy stuff but easily forgotten! (If your an RX8 owner check the oil level also and dont forget a spare can in the boot!) There done my Road safety bit for the week!
  5. Nice one Sasha well done - did you take any pictures for a guide?
  6. As long as its got a full service history mileage wont matter they are pretty rock solid cars. Mines on 54K now and its still as tight as the day I got it! In some cases a car that has been stood around over a period of years is'nt always a good thing - keep em regularly used if you can. Remember the service interval is 9K miles so not long really
  7. Aha!!! With Bridgestones mine used to twitch a lot and still slide but since I fitted Falkens it's been super
  8. Yeah that's fine too but you pay a lot for the name the others can be found cheaper and also have a higher content of lanolin hence last longer. Autoglym is a little watered down for me But go for it
  9. It's normal. Jap leather is very thin and the heated seats dry the leather out. Get some good quality leather cream like gliptone or Connolly hide food but ensure you clean it first with something like saddle soap (cheap option) or Autoglym leather cleaner? Should last but need to treat it maybe every 6 months and will be fine. Hope this helps
  10. That's because Alex knows no fear this time of year on please unless you want to buy another one once you ditch this one
  11. Ok so assuming you have leccie seats here? The only way is to unbolt the seat from the floor and check if anything is trapped in the gear machanism. Do nit under any circumstances force anything. Worse case you need to remove the motor to release the mechanism although I don't know what it looks like underneath maybe Alex has a schematic. The other thing is to gently tap the base incase something has fallen in the gear or try to remove the switch - unplug replug or switch the switches so to speak with the other one just to test the switch. Be careful !!
  12. to the forum Did they make ragtops in 2003?? 2005 they came out in uk and japan probably 2004 so.....? If your after a softtop you will NOT be disapointed. I just wanted a ragtop again and the zed is perfect it's got the best of both worlds,it's actually quite a rare car and you can't beat the noise with the roof down. Personally I would shop around and wait a while mate. Price seems a bit steep to me.

  16. I saw your post about the OAP. Was gunna say that you are lucky, at least the animals arn't out to get you. I know - but give them time we have had cattle grazing on the M56 before - and its not funny !
  17. Thats does'nt look good at all !
  18. I thought the whole point for the '07 engine revamp was to privide more torque lower down so cant understand why you say its less torquey lower down than the earlier models? I find it has bags more power low down. The '07 is more quieter but then mines a ragtop so its quiet anyway but deffo sounds louder outside (to me anyway) The earlier models sound like your engaged more with the engine - you can hear it working so maybe that it? Not had any tramlining issues at all thats down to tracking and poor tyres I think.
  19. Lucy escape there mate - yup the Zed is a pretty tough car on the whole except for the paint of course!
  20. Just nipping out at lunch today and see an old dear trying to reverse out of a car park into the main road... Thinking she can see me driving past I carry on although a little slower I gently bib my horn to warn her but she carries on so I blast the horn continuously and still she carries on at speed into the main road I then end up doing emergency avoidance and braking procedure!!!!!! Wtf!!! I am now at the aide of her and she still cant see me! Why some people still have a license is beyond me. Then bobbed to the bank and as walking back to car some old git in a Talbot campervan doing a 20 point turn in the tight car park about an inh from my front bumper Is it Friday 13th today or is everyone asleep this morning
  21. Yikes heard the news on the radio driving in this morning. Hope the water goes soon we get enoigh in this country!!! Stew you best take emergency cake and wellies just on case
