to the club mate on behalf of myself and Lexx we both had Rexs before 350s short version: both cars are feckin fabulous but in different ways. The Rex is a practical family sports saloon with excellent engineering and design ,superb engine and before Lexx tells you ..NO it does not drink oil as much as petrol that is just scaremongering by people who never owned one!! Yes you can rev it up to 9000 revs and flies like sh@@ off a shovel it grips like nothing else the boot is huge the interior quality and piddles on Many cars you drive it like a hooligan all day everyday and it won't complain. Yes you need to check the oil level it's a pain but that's life and yes it's not frugal you get mid 20s max buy a Micra if that worries you. Don't compare the zed to it the zed has the torque of a high end diesel is well planted but can kill you if you switch the ESP off. Zed is also a superb car and is a great long distance cruder and for the money an absolute bargain.

Bugger I spend about £150 a week on fuel But I hate Tesco with a passion! its all Asda around here! Is it the Hilton Olympia by any chance - Kensington High Street? Nice hotel been there loads fo times on training courses nearby- had the Honeymoon suite there once (by mistake) their co** up! Yes stan, it is the Olympia... was the only one i could use my vouchers at Chris, spa hotel... if i'd invested a little more time i'd have probably found a decent spa hotel to go to instead... but there's so many choices, it took me almost 2 hours to pick what i got...! In the end i was like screw it, and picked the easiest one! I used to love going down there - was a long time ago - there should still be a very nice Italian restaurant across the road from the hotel and great Curry house about 1/2 a mile up Kensington High Street heading towards the Palace That was the first time I ever had a curry

The ones near us is like a posh upmarket version (sort of Harry Ramsdens stylie) it is pretty fab and you get Huge portions but its a little overpriced , when there is a top chippy up the road for a lot less!

that's just too healthy! i quite fancy fish and chips tonight, theres a place nearby that does good ones with really crispy batter and good chips or mart's chinese the other night sounded very tempting ...oh dear...forgot i was supposed to be cooking!! I would'nt worry about mileage too much they are pretty bullet proof - I'm on an '07 with 54K miles now and its as tight as it was when I got it

Ouch! maybe think about strengthening it underneath with a steel brace of some sort - and bonding it to the underside - use a string adhesive to repair that crack?

By gum all this fuss over ACE cafe wondered if we should have a Northern version? What should we call it? TOP cafe, GRAND Cafe, CHAMPION Cafe? We could serve pie and peas, polish up the cobbles outside and wash down the whippet sh** dont want those Nismo's getting muck on them! Any good location sugestions?
