  1. SK means registered in Edinburgh if that helps...
  2. Good answer! All the little twiddles I didn't know my car had, and I read the manual but not daily and you just forget these things
  3. Ooh, women in uniform
  4. Revolution in Gateshead do that specialist grill mesh (350Z Zun Clicky here). Don't know if they have the Z grill in stock but i did see some examples on their wall yesterday and it is just down the road for you.
  5. Might save on import tax, but are you willing to pay the excess baggage charge? Prolly be cheaper to pay the tax.... I'd hate to see what customs would do to you when they x-rayed that suitcase. They would think it was an atom bomb
  6. Impressive Ad, although the making of is a bit poor...
  7. Get down the shops for a cheap T shirt. Then you get to laugh at the others at work as you have a comfy dress-down day whilst they are all looking dressed-up.
  8. I was with LV for ages and they were always the cheapest, then I moved house (all of 3 miles) and they would not insure me for under £2,000 which was a four-fold increase. It took all of 30 minutes to find a quote that was actually cheaper that my original one. Don't worry mate, just ditch them and do a comparison site OR call chris knott etc.
  9. Nice one matey I'm off over there to buy now...
  10. If you want to practice changing leds on the center dials, £40 doesn't seem that bad... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2004-Nissan-350Z- ... 286.c0.m14
  11. That is good to know. The ad says brushed alu finish, which is not the same as saying they are alu, just like they look like it (you know, like the difference between chocolate flavour and chocolate flavoured). With a good recommendation like that I'll buy some myself Thanks sunset
  12. Easy mate http://www.nutsboltsandthings.co.uk/stainlessnuts.htm
  13. I had some stick-on ones like this. Mine were quite flimsy plastic film but once on they were fine. After a year I damaged one and had to remove them and now the cabin looks too stark again. I will put them on again but only the genuine Nissan ones for the better quality. Mine were half this price too...
  14. WTF Is that a symptom of owning a JDM
  15. +1 on lynksys although they don't suit all (you know who you are). Zxtel work fine and are a bit more advanced than linksys. Pick one up at currys for under £50.
  16. Like Chris says, physically turn off the power to the router. Once you have switched it off, give us all a break for a few hours then switch back on. Ok, maybe a minute will be enough before you switch it on again
  17. Ya, another Sprinkle. There's actually quite a few of us here now. I had to look 'Sprinkle' up and I sincerely hope that it is item two on the list, although even that is pretty dodgy (ps. it's a bit rude so you are warned!) http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=sprinkle
  18. Thanks Matt, that looks pretty convincing
  19. I don't know what you mean by "a bit heavy duty", but it has to be able to widthstand the shock forces generated in the diff which are much higher than in a gearbox. It's the correct viscosity and is intended for use in LSD applications. You only need an LSD additive if the oil isn't desigined for LSD use and needs to be boosted. Here's the blurb from the link I attached: "Recommended for use in differentials, manual transmissions and other gear applications requiring any of the following specifications: API GL-5, MT-1, MIL-PRF-2105E, Dana SHAES 234 (Formerly Eaton PS-037), Mack GO-J, or the differential (hypoid) gear oil specifications from all domestic and foreign manufacturers such as GM, Ford and Daimler Chrysler. Can also be used in axles where an API GL-4 lubricant is recommended." Sorry Matt, I don't mean to be thick, I just can't help it By heavy duty I mean that this oil is call SEVERE (in capitals!) gear oil designed for use in very heavy situations. I read the blurb but the specs mean little to me so is one of those a spec that says it is designed for LSD use. I've never had an LSD before so it's a bit confusing for me!
