That is most definately awesome. I'm guessing you use AutoCad for the Plt files?
  5. It used to cost over £12,000 to fill the mangusta up, and that only lasted about 4 hours with the gas turbines running hot! It had to have a completely seperate diesal drive system just in case they wanted to go further than 400 miles!
  6. You could try a mangusta 108, my sis worked on one of those which had 3 gas turbine jets in it, that was pretty rapid: Or maybe a WallyPower (not to everyone's likeing, but with 3 x 5600bhp gas turbines, its fast! I think they claimed 70knots but could be wrong): To get a sense of scale:
  7. If you could let me know too, i'd be interested!
  8. Here's a couple of pics in overcast conditions (so no sparkly bits!)
  9. This is the most interesting thread i've read in months! (With the exception of PhilTheForce hitting on Zedrush's sister of course...) Keep us updated, i'd be keen for a saturday tuning session.
  10. Thanks for both your input, I did exactly what you said above and it works a dream. The only thing left to do is hide the cable and sat nav puck. Any tips? I have it magnetically fixed to the underside of the rear strut brace at the moment, but want to hide the cable. Is there another easy route? PS I can also highly recommend using a vaio laptop, it comes out of hibernation in around 7 seconds!
  11. I've had my LM GT4s sprayed with gunmetal and course alu flecks and love them. Some crap pics here: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=21393 Will take some more this avo...
  12. Cheers guys, thats a great route. Has anybody succesfully got cables into the cubby behind the passenger seat without pulling apart the whole interior? I have a number of signal cables running under the central armrest and a power cable installed as above, all of which i need to get into the cubby! Any ideas?
  13. Solved it, was just a blown fuse cunningly labeled "Cigar Lighter"...
  14. I've been living in Bristol for nearly 3 years and have never noticed it!! Doh! Where do they have the cars? Lol, It's always on Corn Street as far as i know. This year it's on the 25th April, get down there. Thanks for the tip-off guys. Went along this year, there were some awesome cars. Have put a few pics up here: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=94&t=22239
  15. Cheers guys, can't imagine why the dash isn't lighting up though. Had a look through the service manual and it is controlled by the CAN bus, which worries me...
  16. I think so! The controls and LEDs work fine in it. I think i'll have to take the whole lot apart again and see if i can source the problem. Does anyone know how to remove the centre armrest? I undid the screws behind the AC controls, the one under the ash tray and the two on either sides of the trim (behind the seat belt plugs), but couldnt actually get the thing out, just moved it high enough to feed my cables underneath. I also have no idea how to get the standard key knob off! Thought it would be a simple case of unscrewing but it seems very tight if thats the case.
  17. mine was sh!te but got much much better after some serious firmware updates. Doesnt crash anymore
  18. Right, i'vfe got a minor problem here... I have installed a new head unit and 7" screen in my dash, i wired them all up, checked they worked with ignition and with engine running and had no problem. I also pulled several other cables from the head unit/screen through the central armrest to come out the the side behind the passenger seat. (I will eventually find a route to run these through into the rear cubby behind the passenger seat, but one problem at a time... After pulling these cables and putting all of the trim back on i turned the ignition to admite my master piece and guess what... no power to the stereo or screen and to make it worse the dash backligts no longer work!! (Indicator and main beam lights still do but dials no longer glow!). I've checked the audio systems fuse and it is fine. Could I of dislodged a connector behind the stereo or under centre arm rest? Any help much appreciated, otherwise i think it may have to be an expensive trip to Uplands Car Electronics!! Cheers
  19. Just for completeness if anyone is reading this in the future, works fine with the Blackberry Storm
  20. my LMGT4s cost £45 a wheel for a complete refurb and custom respray, they did a top job too. Was mates rates though i'm afraid.
