  1. Depends on your model of Z. Most people who build car PCs favour the retracting cubby which can be purcahsed from JDM performance.
  2. It's so sweet isnt it? You wouldnt believe how low he dropped the price to sell, was an absolute bargain for someone!

  6. You'll probably finish it before i do!! Project is on hold at the moment due to ridiculous work load consuming every waking minute of my life...
  7. Hi guys, HELPPPP!! I'm currently attempting to fit a new CF bonnet to my motor but it's not quite fitting right. Basically, it needs to move forward about 7-8mm as it's not quite reaching the front catch properly at the moment. Is there a way of adjusting the bonnet hinges or am i going to have to drill them out?! Any help much appreciated.
  8. I have a fair bit of experience with PCs and the like, so feel free to drop me any questions you may have. Will also be installing my system in the next couple of months and since i'm only in Bristol, you're welcome to have a look at what i'm upto if you like.
  9. You can if you have the $$ I did a lot of research and found these guys had v good reviews (and were local to me): http://www.in-carpc.co.uk/ Not bought yet, am thinking about buying a new laptop and cannabalising the old one for a car pc, just need a special power supply.
  10. +1 Maybe he's just friendly or perhaps address the Nixy/Cara type members of the forum!
  11. I have the Lilliput 629 in my cubby sat on my desk, waiting for a car PC! It fits a dream. Havent got any pics of it installed, but this is what it looks like in bits! To fit it i cut (with a Dremel) the original plastic screw taps from the back piece and then bonded (glued) them to the back of the cubby. You can then use the existing the metal tabs to fasten it onto the cubby. I then used some sticky 3M pads to attached the PCBs to the back of the screen. Am just trying to work out the best way of retaining the use of the buttons as i want to be able to flick between inputs (carPC to DVD head unit). Good luck mate
  12. Not decided yet, keep an eye on this thread: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16097&start=90
