  1. Just to comlete the thread... i did end up buying Pauls bonnet, had to make some minor alterations to the bonnet hinge mounting holes to get a better fit, but am v happy with the result. Thanks Paul! Here's a couple of pics: (Sorry mods, they have been posted before!)
  2. You could try Chilli, they had a nice Varis one not long ago. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=19549
  3. Hi Nurrish, I have just had mine reconditioned and had a custom colour mixed up that looks similar to the pic. It was based on the GM colour but a shade darker and some course aluminium fleks added for extra sparkle. I love the finished result, car looks mean and they really sparkle in the sunlight. There are some pics here: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=21393

  6. It is a single din, so less of the mutant!! There's loads of head units out there that i'd like, but simply havent got the $ to spend on them at the moment. My bose head unit was skipping and the left hannel kept dropping out so i decided to put the head unit from my old car in! Just need to get the screen and PC in now...
  7. Thanks guys, spliced an earth in and connected it to the metal stereo chassis, it works fine now.
  8. Hi guys, my Bose unit has finally skipped one too many times so i'm replacing it with my old JVC unit which is pretty sweet anyway! Right, i have the required harness (ICT 29-674) and have plugged it all in, but I'm getting a horrible earth loop whine from the alternator (pitch is proportional to the revs). I lost the instructions for the ICT harness as i bought it so long ago and i'm wondering if i've not connected something correctly. I have connected the the blue and white striped wire to the ignition switched live (which i understand is for the bose amp), there is also a black and white striped wire alongside it, do i need to connect this to ground? If so is there a convenient place to ground it? Cheers guys.
  9. You could have just painted the car green tbh... I did consider a complete respray, was thinking Connaught green (or darker!). I think that would look sweet. Bit too much $ in these unstable times though.
  10. +1 Orange and black is sweeeeeet.
  11. Can vouch for this guy, he works miracles!
  12. Cheers mate, bought some dodo from i4tuning. All sorted.
  13. Thanks guys, decided to try out the Dodo Juice Born to be Mild shampoo and Dodo Diamond White wax... Also treated myself to some detailing brushes and a new mit
  14. Out of Stock at i4detailing
  15. Traders, please PM me price for the following: duragloss 901 shampoo, p21s (now known as p222) wax Cheers
  16. Thanks Mike, i'll bang a post on the wanted section, see what comes back.
  17. Bit of a tongue twister... It's time to take the plunge and give my baby the wash and wax she deserves. So, the question is, what shampoo and wax has given you the best results? I dont want to spend big $ on cleaning products but appreciate you get what you pay for. So, can anyone recommend anything? Also, any good products for cleaning the interior, dash etc? Cheers
  18. People ask me "When are you gonna paint your bonnet?" I just flash them an evil look... I know what you mean, it was VERY hard making the decision as the carbon weave looked amazing, but with the Green stripes already painted on there it was easier to do the whole thing. I also wanted a slighty more subtle look. As you say, alot of people think a carbon bonnet is an unsprayed bonnet you have on becuase you've recently had a crash! When sort some sunny pics out when Bristol actually sees some sun...
  19. Those Lambos are so nice. Pics are excellent too mate. Bit geeky, but do you have a favourite lens for car photography?
  20. Thats me mate, sustainable to the end... (apart from the 3.5 V6 of course, ahem.)
  21. Cheers guys, couple more pics here, will try and get some shots in the sunshine soon. I had to modify the bonnet mounts slightly to get a better fit, just elongated the original holes on the hinge (thanks for the suggestion Alex). Fit is pretty good now.
  22. You guys are too good, although Ian, i think you might have had a little inside knowledge!! It's Paul's old bonnet, complete with green strips! And now without.... (apologees for going a little overboard with the effects, i'm knackered!) Had the whole front resprayed and all of the wheels refurbished. Also had a drop of colour added to the wheels, custom mix of GM + some course alu paint and i must admit i LOVE the result. They sparkle like diamonds in the sunlight!! Here's a pic of them in the underground car park (not so sparkly!). Photos dont really do the colour justice either, in reality is somewhere between the two pics...
  23. Sorry i missed it guys, still not got the car back... having the rims seen to today, am picking her up tomorrow evening. Will be in for the next one though!
