Nice one Rog. Exhausts and tyres looks shiney! Must have been looked after well!
  2. Guys (Rob mainly), I have to drop out of this unfortunately. Without making excuses, i have 3 good ones...! 1. We've just booked an impromptu 5 day break in london over this weekend, costing me a fortune! 2. I cooked my brakes badly on the Wales run and now they need some work fairly soon (fluid change and probably braided hoses) - and i was mainly going to get some track action! 3. We're having new central heating on 1st June, and we've now got to empty the back bedroom and the dining room etc - and i dont fancy doing that after getting back from Silverstone at 9pm! I've paid for my club spot within the first 20 already but i guess that can go to whoever, if you've not all already paid? Robs call - im not bothered about getting it back. Or just donate it to the club. Sos guys Chris.
  3. Get booked on a drift day at Oulton Park. I've just done one, and it was excellent (and doesnt harm your tyres contrary to popular belief). It would be the easiest way to learn to control your car in a drift situation.
  4. Only the sunday for me... just dumped my camera on photobucket! Had a great day, but am knackered now... and i only drove 249 miles as im one of the locals (kind of).... Had trouble with my brakes just as we started on the Evo triangle... big thanks to the 45 cars who drove past me without stopping to see if i was alright (im joking )... just cooked brakes i think, but took it easy for the rest of the day, using my gears instead of the brake pedal
  5. Oh man no way... i hope everyone and their cars are okay...
  6. Sweet mate glad you enjoyed it. I did my first drift day last week and loved it, but im yet to track it... Nice pics.
  7. Dont forget you have to change your v5 document and change your insurance...
  8. Finally dude! Good skills for going for going through with this though... i didnt realise everything would have to be trimmed down... what a nightmare! Looking forward to seeing the progress!
  9. Thats the exact one i have for sale mate... yours if u want it.
  10. open the engine bay and start unclipping the cowling around the drivers side windscreen... its easy to do. Anyway you'll be able to feel under the cowling eventually and find the pipes leading from your wipers. Unhook this and you have access to it then... you are now looking for a Y pipe connector - this often gets clogged. Unclip the wires from here and stick some wire down it or something to unblock it...
  11. I have a zed badge which im bringing to wales.... tenner if u want it
  12. Fill your lunchtimes with these! Timed quizzes! Name the car maker (i got 37 out of 42): http://www.sporcle.com/games/carlogos.php Name all 42 premiership teams since it started (i got 40 out of 42): http://www.sporcle.com/games/premierleaguealltime.php And there's loads of others on there!
  13. I have a satin silver zed badge... looks alright condition but you may want to give it a fresh coat of paint...! I bought it 2nd hand on here for £12 delivered, but have decided not to fit it to my car. £10 on the sunday to anyone.
  14. Saw this a few weeks ago (think it was posted on here?) It was the funniest thing ever! This one is also good... possibly funnier (after a few beers anyway!):
  15. Do you have an automatic? Did you lean on the snow mode button with your elbow? The first time i did that i thought my car had died, and i couldn't go over 20mph...!
  16. Dude - i fully agree with you... They're almost as gay as Mini's. But then it doesnt matter what it looks like if it drives well on track I wouldn't drive it in public, and would be stripping it and making it track ready. And its different enough to keep it interesting. Would MX-5's be difficult to control if you're over 5'2''? When I borrowed my Mum's (not a good start) I struggled to get in it and move the wheel without hitting my knees Balls, really? Im 6'2", and my mate is 6'5". WIll have to try before we buy i think.

  18. Thats ace! Good spot!
  19. Hey Martin, Yep it was good meeting you too...! After the passenger ride on your celica i saw how it should be done - so i absolutely ripped it for the last 25 mins...! I had a great time! I have pics and vids of your car... i'll post them up probably tomorrow night now - but i'll PM you when i do.
  20. Hey guys... Well my mate's been looking online all day at cars, and i think we're both leaning towards an mx-5. You can get them for seriously little money - like £700, and they'll do the business. They seem to be the cheapest car out off all the suggestions so far - and its small enough to not take up too much space on my drive too! 200sx's are still very pricey... looking at £1500 minimum which is way more than we wanna spend. So we're watching a few on ebay right now, and he's emailed a few people... so may have one in the next few weeks!
  21. That looks awesome mate!! Are you happy with it? I cant wait to see it...!
