  1. Yeh, a lot of the guys at work use it. I've seen it in action and it looks great.
  2. No way - i hated it The first one was hands down the best film i've ever seen at the cinema but this one was weak. Really not impressed with it.
  3. This is hopefully now sold - am meeting Zteve tomorrow and he's coming down from Middlesborough...! And thanks for the infor edgey
  4. PS - im going to the trafford center now to at and watch transformers... so dont be waiting around for a reply tonight..
  5. Ok, this is now off the car as of 1 hr ago. They even gave me some new nuts and bolts to give to the buyer At the moment the exhaust is filthy and im not cleaning it again. I spent an hour and a half on it with the brasso when i got it in March - so whoever buys it can clean it themselves. I never got it 100% clean - there were several tarnished areas, but maybe a different product like autosyl (sp?) will remove them...? The pic below is from when i got it, after cleaning... Zteve - balls in your court now
  6. Looks good pal. Put http://and around your image link and it'll show on the page directly.
  7. Apologies if this is a report, but this is cool..! http://hacknmod.com/hack/car-hacking-iphone-controlled-mazda/ There's enough stuff on this site to keep me occupied all summer!
  8. Pah, i had spinal surgery last year, and they said not to drive for 6 weeks.... but i was driving after 10 days, although i could barely walk!!
  9. Great topic stan - im loving those pics of your old stuff I've had 6 cars since i passed my test in '04... No. 1 - 93 Maroon Escort 1.3 - but i cant find the pics I reversed it into a post the week i got it, and basically wrecked the car, Paid £800 and sold it for £400 just 5 weeks later! No. 2 was a very nippy 1.4 mk3 Golf which i adored. Despite the rust, i lowered it, had 17" chromes, exhaust, a custom homemade grill and had neons... those were my max power days...! I got it for free off my sister, and got £150 trade in for it when i got my next car! No.3 was a 316 bmw e36 coupe... i loved this car, and it handled superbly, although was under powered. On this i had a sound system with sub and amp, 17" alloys and i added a screen and a Ps2 under the passenger seat! Also had lexus lights and tints. I paid £3000 for this, and got £2250 for it 8 months later. Next up - my favourite car - 323i Coupe. I had 18" M3 rep alloys, angel eyes, sound system, and blacked out everything!! I washed this car twice a week and it was just ace... at the time in 2006 i thought i was very cool. I paid £3150 for this and got £2k trade in for it 10 months later. No. 5 was an e46 328ci coupe with matching reg! I got this the week of my 23rd birthday but it was a bad luck car... so much went wrong with it. I paid a whopping £10k for this, and traded it in 1 year and 20k miles later for £5500! Ouch. Lastly i got my zed the week after my 24th birthday... and have had it for 1yr and 9 months... its a record...!
  10. My vote would be to do something slightly different this time...? There's an Oulton Park drift day in late september... we should all meet for that...! Or there's a great Go-Karting place in Warrington which is about £45 each for a big competition for 30 people...? Just throwing ideas out here...
  11. Sorry chaps, yes - the exhaust is still available... i've been trying to ignore this thread as i didnt get it off my car last weekend as i was too busy - but im gonna try tomorrow afternoon - so i'll post up when its off! Bundus - your dibs if you want it, once i've got pics up etc - Zteve - 2nd dibs... EDIT: Zteve - you're the first to PM me on this so its you're first dibs - sorry Bundus. Probably my fault for not replying to the thread. BM - thanks for the vid Jay - i think it sounds wrong as you dont engine brake in an auto as you do in a manual... if you're accelerating and you lift off, the autobox changes up to drop the revs right down, rather than engine braking - if you know what i mean? So when driving normally you get max volume, then lift off and it goes almost silent! I only get the gorgeous over-run sound when im in tiptronic mode - and then it sounds awesome! Just like an old american v8
  12. I love the states. My Dad lives in Texas and i visit him from time to time. I was there last year, and like you say, there were tons of zeds everywhere. But there were twice as many mustangs though! Jeez, now they were as common as muck As for the food... i love going round the supermarkets there and seeing all the different foods... and then i get to the cookie dough isle I seriously love that stuff
  13. Quality Thats definitely a calendar entry!n
  14. Unfortunately i've not got anywhere with this Ian... We didnt get our bonus we were expecting at work, so it was either pay for the summer holidays and continue to have a girlfriend, or by myself a track car and become single...! ...rightly or wrongly, i chose the missus.
  15. I used to have the problem of turning them off by accident but i got used to it eventually and dont do it anymore... but i've never had a problem with them not re-igniting?
  16. This has been discussed several times. Rosssco you are right - its the anti rollbar end links. They can be re-greased rather than replaced first as that usually cures the issue.
  17. Cheers Dene...! I'll give it till the weekend and put mine on there then... its a bit of a hassle with all the fees etc.
  18. Hi all, im offering my Sony PS3 for sale. Its in as new condition incl box - i've played it for less than 1 hour altogether! I got it the week before christmas, and watched a few blue-rays on it that i rented, but they're too expensive to buy and i cant copy them - so its no use to me! As for games, im an xbox fan and only play that - so this has sat untouched for the last 6 months! Included is 1 pad, singstar + 2 microphones, Gran Turismo 5 prologue (think thats what its called)? and Resistance: fall of man. Also, i bought an additional hdmi cable for £15. I'll sell it for £230 collected, or £250 delivered.
  19. Ha ha... me too. Louis... cant you post up all your rolling shots? There was one of me...
  20. The fear issue didnt bother me too much. Yes - i see what everyone is saying that the fear factor is the best thing, but as the characters have been living with many terminators for many years, they're less likely to be terrified of every single one, when they have to face them on a daily basis!
  21. what channels it on??
  22. I was the same as you - i got caught out against a mk2 civic type-R in a similar situation - then it dawned on me to use the tip. Sport mode - increases the auto-gear change up to the red line if you're giving it some, and also increases throttle response.
  23. They're 6.2 zero to sixty if i remember rightly... Also, were you in sport mode or normal? And were you in tiptronic mode or normal auto?? Those 2 factors will massively affect your speed... for example in manual mode you can anticipate when you're gonna need power and drop down to 3rd or 2nd (at a roundabout for example) and then you have instant power - but in auto-mode you'd maybe lose 1 - 2 seconds as the brain decides which gear to pick. ...which is precisely the reason why i made my own paddle shifters, as manual mode is much quicker! Also dont forget that you're never gonna lose him if he wants to race... most cars will always be there or there abouts if you're on a straight road - you just might make 30 yards or so when you're both accelerating, but at 80mph, you'll both be matched obviously. Difficult to explain what i mean...
  24. I'd buy a house with a massive garage and work on car projects...
