  1. For what its costing you in eBay fees, it would be cheaper to just give them to me...!
  2. View unread posts is only going to be of use to those of us who live on here though
  3. Great find Mike... I've been struggling since personal shipper stopped trading.
  4. I see your point Sarnie, but what if someone gets properly called out over the price/quality/history of something (again probably by you ) and then the seller has the ability to delete these tough questions? To the less clued up buyer, things good look like a good deal. Imagine some of the recent 'traders' threads and if they hadnt been called out by some people here...

    MPG?

What ron fuel do you have in Poland? If you've just got the car, 14mpg is to be expected as you should be out enjoying it... but if you're really driving as sensibly as you say, you should be getting at least high teens.
  6. Just picked the car up and the brakes feel better already, from just the 20mph drive pootle home in traffic. One point though, the mechanic showed me the old lines and there is a little locating bar that stops the end of the line rotating when attached. He said the goodridge lines dont have this, so i need to check it over the next few days, and then probably every couple of weeks after that... anyone heard of this before???? Seems like a bit of a chore! On a side note... this is the first receipt i've got for any work on my car, in 2 years!! Finally!! My mate at the local garage does everything for me for next to nothing, but obviously its off the books, but he didnt fancy doing the lines for me as he said its a b!tch. So thats one for my collection...!
  7. PM zmanalex or r35lee mate. They'll sort you out at much cheaper prices.

  15. I've literally done about 17 minutes of work so far! I've watched The Bill, Jeremy Kyle, and am now watcching 'Most Shocking High Octane Impacts'...
  16. My girlfriends mate at work loves my car, but she's a munter, so does that count?
  17. Not her again... where's the bleach so i can burn my eyes out!!!!
  18. Please, no gay jokes, but girls' boyfriends look at the car more than the girls do...
  19. As the title says, having my goodridge hoses fitted today... i've only bought them 6 months ago just never got round to it. I HATE the feeling of my car being in the garage... is something gonna go wrong? will they get it done today? etc etc. I called 5 different garages and was quoted between £105 and £180 to fit the lines and swap the (supplied) fluid. I've gone to the £105 garage as oddly, they're the best garage of the lot So im working from home today, meaning im gonna get sod all done.
  20. After google-ing it tonight, its pretty complicated, but as is my understanding they use the horizontal and vertical lines of a crt screen, and also something to do with the white flash you get when you press the trigger- this highlights the intended target and the light sensor in the gun works out where you shoot. or something ...basically, old light guns dont work on any LCD scrren due to them being pixels rather than lines.
  21. Hey all. Thanks for the positive comments... i've not touched it since i got Call of Duty, but i've had a break from that this weekend so have been having a blast on this. I've not really changed anything on it, but have been looking round for other systems to emulate... it turns out that if i get some actual MAME games (i.e. as if they were running on an arcade machine), some of them expect you to add credits - which is simulated by pressing a given button on the keyboard. I can work backwards from this and hook that up to my coin mech, meaning you have to pay per play rather than just to switch the PC on...! Awesome! Was a bit gutted today though - i finally found a copy of Virtua Cop 2 for the dreamcast to download- so i hooked up the lightgun and... lightguns dont work with LCD screens. Lastly, i've just looked at my pics again... im suprised no-one noticed the knuckle dusters in the last pic, on the shelf on the left! Oops.
  22. Dude, cant you get some money together to get that fixed?? Sell your wheels or something to fund the door repair. It looks bad in the pics, and i wouldnt dream about buying a car that needed such work.
  23. Will be a £2 non return valve from halfords. Open the bonnet, remove the brake fluid cover, reach under and unclip the pipes. There will be 2 valves under there - a Y shaped valve and a non return valve. It is usually this piece which gets blocked.
