Go to advanced search so it sorts py topics (instead of posts) and use the word AND in between your search terms. Lastly, i dont think it will let you search for words shorter than 3 letters. Search 'Headlight AND brighter' for example. Anyway as an upgrade, maybe change the colour intensity to a whiter colour, or your other option is to manually adjust the light pattern of the headlight i.e. raise them up a bit - but not too much else you'll fail your MOT.

Auto's are perfectly fine mate. Very strong, and reliable. I've rarely heard of an autobox failure compared to all the issues with manuals (synchro's, clutches etc etc...). As for avoiding 03 plate cars... There arent any issues i know of with them Mines an 03 and is perfect.

I was fitting some lowering springs once, and had my shock absorber in a vice on the bench. I didnt have any spring compressors, so improvised with some threaded bar, spanners and some cable ties... about half way down the compression, a spanner slipped and snapped the cable ties, and shot my spring straight off the shock, and smashed the lights in the garage, dented the roof, and almost broke my arm...

That was fantastic. only redeeming moment of the episode.

minor thread revival... I finally got round to buying a mattress today from Dreams - you know - the one with the 50% off sale. Its all a con - they're all the same price they were when i checked in August! Anyway, got a fairly good one - 1200 pocket springs and a memory foam top, but it was £885 incl delivery That was painful... Will hopefully sort my back out though.

Spent all week online looking at what car i could replace mine with... my only criteria are: It has to be under £4k It has to be fast it cant be a small car, or french. I was going to get a car for drifting, but i think i'll keep that separate - so i just need a daily driver. I've narrowed it down to either an R33 Skyline (which im sure will be a shed for £4k... opinions?) or an MG ZR 160, which are < £3k and are 7.4 0-60, or a 2.8 Bora. Other than that, im struggling to reach civic type-r's, old shape TT's,

My first was a 1993 1.3 Ford Escort in Brown, My best is the zed, although i loved my blacked out e36 coupe.
