  1. Dont the buttons on the right hand side of the speedo alter the brightness of the instruments?? Anyway welcome Dave... you better not be one of the tractor driving farmers If you are... do you people have a forum? And if you do, TELL THEM TO STAY OFF THE ROADS BEFORE 9AM!!!!!!!! Every damn day i get the same few tractors holding up a mile of traffic at 8.50am...
  2. Very common problem mate. I have a replacement waiting to go on this weekend on mine. There's usually a back box and midpipe for sale for about £100 round here at any given time...
  3. I was going to take the paddle shift out... while it works perfectly and feels oem, it looks a bit naff and would put people off i think. I think it'd put me off buying it... Simon+Kat... HUD was from eBay but i think they're quite rare
  4. Yep... that is really good advice. Cheers Liam. I'll ammend the ad this evening. Didnt wanna fork out for new tyres, but i'll just increase my price a bit
  5. That sounds good to me Stan... you know i'll be there...! and i'll be able to drift a bit better in the costco car park now im back in a manual again
  6. Cheers Stew. Yep, the parts will be changed this weekend and i'll update the add to reflect then. As for the pictures... with the current weather i dont get a chance to take a picture that would help sell the car
  7. I've edited my original for sale thread and lowered the price now that i've removed my mods. -------------------------------------------------------------------- For sale is my 2003 JDM Tiptronic 350z Coupe in Blade silver. This car was imported in 2003 from new, and had 4 former keepers until i bought it in 2007. When i got it, it had 35k miles on the clock, and it is now on 65k miles. These are all genuine UK miles. It has the carbon Cloth seats that grip you brilliantly and do not get uncomfortably hot/cold like leather seats do. The brake's are non-brembo, however, in the last 3 months i have uprated them to use Endless pads all round, Goodridge stainless steel braided lines, and DBA grooved and vented front discs at a total cost of just over £700. Other modifications include colour coded intake duct and eyelids, clear rear fog light housing with red LED bulb, boot cargo-net, 350z mats, and uprated 8000k HID bulbs. I have attended many 350z meets and have been an active member of http://www.350z-uk.com - the uk owners club. A photo of my car appeared in Banzai magazine recently on the annual forum meet. During the time i've owned it, i've not had a single mechanical issue with the car. The engines are bullet proof, and nissan reliability is excellent. On 20th Dec the it had a full P3 service which is the most expensive and comprehensive service the car will need. This means that the next service will not be needed for another 9k/12 months and that will be a P1 which is the cheapest, therefore no expensive service costs for a few years. The next P3 is not due for another 36k/4yrs! In addition, i have just had a full exhaust system from a 21k 2006 car fitted, as well as a pair of rear anti-roll bar end links, so lots of cost free motoring ahead! Taxed till end of March 2010, and MOT till end of Oct 2010. Following the recent money spent on the brakes, the exhaust/ARB-link replacement and the P3 service (Just over £1100 in 3 months) i think £9000ono is a very fair asking price, as you will have trouble free motoring for quite a while. Thanks Chris.
  8. Not zedless yet mate... another month or 2 yet probably. Will be for sale after xmas.
  9. Well... i bought a new car yesterday... and its a SHED! Its a 1994 e36 320i coupe in silver, with just 166k on the clock The bodywork is in good condition considering, with only 2 or 3 minor scrapes... no dents importantly. The interior is a bit mingy, with blue velour seats Its got a new looking scorpion cat back on it, which to be fair sounds better than my zed, but its pi$$ slow and the handling feels a bit loose. There is an oil leak but it doesnt look too bad - probably just the rocker cover gasket. Total price... £900 Importantly though, despite it being a shed, at least i can take it drifting... and in all honesty if in 3 months i decide i dont like living like a chav i can get rid and get something a bit less 'poor'. So, i just need to get a p3 done on my zed and then it'll be up for sale... EDIT: I dont pick it up till Tuesday, so havent got any pics yet.
  10. Nice work Shaun that looks mint.

    Bug build

Read page 1 and page 14... that man is awesome!!
  12. +1 Rich. The headlight itself sounds fine, but this problem is further back than that... Have you looked at the contacts in the end of the connector? If they've been exposed they could have rusted...
  13. I'd love one, but i cant stretch anywhere near that... i've made another u-turn this week and am back in the £1500 price range now... I've been on eBay every night this week looking for bargain cars... need the cheapest T&T'd car i can find to drive after i sell mine, before buying my £1500 beast...
  14. My dad has been talking about getting a Prius
  15. Ikarus - are you sure you dont work in my office? That sounds exactly like here... And Sarnie - i've lost count of how many times my missus has asked me to pick her up from work when im working from home... even though she finished 30mins before i do. FOR GODS SAKE WOMAN, IM WORKING!!
  16. When people talk to you to chat, but you are too busy to talk so you try not to engage them - but they continue talking at you and wont take the f*cking hint!!!!!!!
  17. No chance... i saw my first ever 370z last weekend, and im on It was black, and just the meanest looking car ever. There was a 350z parked next to it and it just looked sorry
  18. Go to advanced search so it sorts py topics (instead of posts) and use the word AND in between your search terms. Lastly, i dont think it will let you search for words shorter than 3 letters. Search 'Headlight AND brighter' for example. Anyway as an upgrade, maybe change the colour intensity to a whiter colour, or your other option is to manually adjust the light pattern of the headlight i.e. raise them up a bit - but not too much else you'll fail your MOT.
  19. Auto's are perfectly fine mate. Very strong, and reliable. I've rarely heard of an autobox failure compared to all the issues with manuals (synchro's, clutches etc etc...). As for avoiding 03 plate cars... There arent any issues i know of with them Mines an 03 and is perfect.
