  1. Welcome ed... why wait a few months, get one now! What year car are you looking at?
  2. He's only winding you up mate, ad even if he isnt, its only his opinion. Dont let it get to you! You know you have a better car then him.
  3. I told you last time, dont touch your wheels, they're ace...
  4. I'll only accept marzman being a member of the A-Team if he videos himself driving his Zed through some oil barrels. Otherwise, membership DENIED Well no, but here's me shooting a 357 Magnum...
  5. No, any input welcome Mark... I definitely see your point, and wont know until i test fit, but at the moment i dont think it's going to be an issue. From my past work with reflector fitting, it's only about 20% of the overall surface area that's on show, and the unit kind of sits behind the bumper, so it should be alright. However if it is too big, i can use these as a mould, and then use an injection moulding technique instead... Cheers.
  6. Hi all, well after giving up making the LED reflectors last year due to them being too difficult/costly to source, i decided this week to look into manufacturing my own, with vacuum forming being the simplest, most cost effectove solution. So today i made a vacuum forming machine I bought a sheet of acrylic yesterday, cut it into A4 sized pieces, and got to work... The results are below. Obviously these are not finished though... need to go through the LED fitting phase, make a back for them, and of course test fit them, but i thought i'd share the results now... And check out the video here... pretty cool
  7. These: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/10-Electrical-Wir ... 0466212307 Although if you have the same kit as me, it should have already come with 3 in the box...
  8. I used Pin 22 of the M49 Connector which gives power when the ignition is in position 2, so much better than before. Only took me an hour to fit too... Will update the DIY now... Wasso - go for it, its a great mod.
  9. Thought i'd just bump this up... i wrote this DIY in 2009 for my HUD - which was incredibly useful when driving. Anyway when i was selling my previous zed last year i removed the HUD and sold it to Fakeindian (Neil)... But having got my new zed i was looking to put this mod back on and PM'd Neil, and luckily for me he had never fitted it - so i bought it back off him!! So im fitting it tomottow - cant wait!
  10. Chris for PM... this is spot on.
  11. Massive +1. This also hugely improves your fuel economy as it reduces the need for unnecessary braking.
  12. How long since you last changed your tyres? Dont they 'go-off' after a few years?
  13. My problem as i said on the other thread about this ( Nixy...!) is that what about people with track cars? I am looking to get a second car for drifting, which is worth bugger all, and i only insure it on the days i want to drive it, for taking it to and from the track (for £20 a day). So what was costing me £100 a year would now cost about £400 a year.
  14. Ugh... i hate changing bulbs on the zed. I did it your way stumpy, and ended up with horribly grazed knuckles.
  15. Perfect timing... i need this for this weekend, as i have a massive knee pad on my new zed which is bolted on from inside the doorcard - and im taking it off!
  16. Thats not bad... 11 months without having to post on here...
  17. Torqu wrench = £15. Do it yourself...!!
  18. viewtopic.php?f=32&t=46434&hilit=compressor Not far from you either.
  19. Great game... always nice to see Arsene frustrated. What a little tw@t that Wiltshire is too I was happy for Big Eck and his team yesterday...
