  1. Any one ever had water in the passenger footwell?? Just started to get a small amount of damp in the footwell carpet and mat??
  2. Thanks man, Not sure on total weight I can't remember! Im hoping to get the car weighed soon so Ill post up that when I can! Power its 469whp similar torque figues.
  3. Thanks man! Coming from you with a very cool ride means a lot!!
  4. Fitted the intercom system today. Not full complete as its on a temporary mount until my Alu roll cage mount comes from safety devices. Music via iPod works but sound quality is rather shite LOL.. Still intercom works well and is clear but I'm getting some base level noise when no one speaks so Ill look into fixing this with a filter or voltage stabiliser. Its powered from a switched live 12v that used to power the old 12v socket behind the driver which is handy
  5. Rather strange new mod for the zed today Intercom system for driver and passenger! The car is very noisy now and on longer runs over 10-15 mins I tend to wear ear defenders. This means music is muffled and talking to the passenger is hard with or with out ear defenders so I though this would be a cool mod for comfort and a little weight saving as I can now remover the bose head unit, door speakers, rear amp and wiring! The terratrip system uses a small 12v amp that has twin volume control for driver and passenger, AUX input for MP3 player, Line out to record you voice (for pace notes etc not that ill uses this! lol), Noise cancelling mic's to help cut out engine noise coming though the mic's and the ability to connect to a 2 way radio which could be cool for convoys etc! Ill install them soon and see what there like!
  6. No rails for me. Seat is bolted to the floor..
  7. Ive had them for over 5 years. There great. Get them!
  8. SPG are very slim seats, pole positions are fine. Im 6ft 2" 19st/48inch chest and I have Corbeau pro series XL and fit fine Only thing I would want different is the belt slots could be an inch higher and it would be perfect!
  9. Little more work on zed this morning  Some wrapping Ive been after for a while has finally been sorted. Gloss back 3M 1080 roof. Nismo red pin stripe details/wing end plates and wing mirror tips. Liitle reverse cut branding on the base of the door. Wheel details. Done! One where you can see the roof.
  10. I might be interested in the mash up of the two clutches
  11. Pm me mate, I have one in great condition for sale.

    Mclaren P1

Managed to blag a passenger session racing against the BAC mono in the p1 special operations edition last week! Looks very similar to the one in the above pics!
  14. Thanks man, such good fun and for anyone thinking of doing it, go for it! Only use just over half a tank of fuel and next to nothing on tires! Very safe for the car aslong as you take it easy on one corner where you can hit armco if you go in to fast or spin.
  15. Great fun at the drift day at Oulton! I prefer the track dry as the car has more grip feels more controlled (easier with more power too) but they do keep it wet to reduce tire noise and speed. Will booking the next one soon too Little dirty from the day hahaha
  16. Gave the zed a wash and topped oil up ready for tomorrows drift day at Oulton Good excuse to remove the Varis rain guards on the carbon bonnet too Rain gutters out for the first time in years!
  17. wet track is for beginners so speed is slower and easier on the car etc.. Great for noobs boring for pros....

    Mclaren P1

I've been out in a P1 on the road and track and the brakes are what stand out most for me. Insane braking performance!
  20. I've done 7 years as an on call industrial (gas/oil) fire fighter. I would look into private sector work as well as full time shift fire fighters where I work earn what a station manager would earn as a basic crew. Plus you don't deal with road traffic accidents everyday. Down side is when you get a shout its not a burning wheelie bin its 1000 tones of high pressure lpg hahha
  21. The large brace can work lose at the sills and cause knocking. Check all bolts.
  22. 1DC is old tech now and HUGELY overpriced. So many better options than the 1dc now. My A7s with shogun produces a killer image for a 1/3rd of the cost of a 1dc. For weddings I though you would want a 4k camcorder really rather than a large sensor camera.
