  2. Made a start on cleaning up the over spilled seam sealer Passenger side before. After scraping off most of it and wire wheeling it. Drivers side during. Decided to try and see if the tar deadener would come off with out dry ice and it did!! The closest place to me that i can get dry ice from is 30 mins away and its £60 for 10kg minimum order I may just take it off with out using dry ice as thats £80 for ice and fuel just to get the tar off!! Just the small section of tar removed from the side of the driver trans tunnel in a bag TOTAL SO FAR = 18.9KG

  5. Next job it so remover the tar sound deadening plus some other bits of deadener. Im then looking to cut down the wiring loom as most bits in the cabin are not used now to save more weight. The dash trim and centre console covering the trans tunnel are going back in to keep it looking nice and the seam sealer is being removers and floor wells painted in body colour
  6. More work on the zed for a few hours this afternoon. The diet is progressing My fist thing was to clear the crap out the transition tunnel cubby I totally forgot I even had anything in!!! 0.8KG Before we make a start on removing the carpet the seats have had to come out. Sitting super low down on the floor! lol.. Drivers side view. Drivers footwell. Passenger side view as carpet comes out. Quite lot of sound deadening to come out that should save a good amount of weight still! OEM front 350z floor mats out 1.8KG Air bag ECU removed as I now have no airbags so this is a waste to carry around lol... Has 4 14mm bolts that hold it down and I've forgot to put those in so its 50g heaver than this i think. 0.3KG My body weight (A lot i know haha I will lose a few KG and help the Power to weight haha) Floor carpet out. Me holding the floor carpet. 4.3KG Driver vs. passenger Passenger seat balanced on scale. 21.8-22KG (I was holding it so not quite full weight) OEM driver seat is just about 25kg as it has extra motors and more adjustments. Driver seat with all mounting brackets 14.7KG Possible saving when new passenger seat is in = 7.1KG TOTAL SO FAR 18.2KG

  11. Any idea on weight of the 200mm kit Inc flywheel etc.?? What's the fly wheel weight on its own?
  12. Stop tech discs on the front with OEM discs rear. I did have DS2500 but IMHO they felt a little dead when cold? What would you recommend other than those? Do you use a brake booster stiffener??
  13. Alex I'm after warm feel. I doubt I have air in the system but I will change fluid and bleed soon again. I'm on a set of brembo pads atm that I swapped in from ds2500. What pad would you recommend?
  14. Ah OK, I'm based near Liverpool. I was thinking of going for the 200mm ceramic version. That's a fair bit cheaper than this and holds more torque yes?
  15. Guys has any one got any tips on improving brake feel of the oem brembo system if I already have 2 piece discs, motul fluid, New pads and brained lines? I'm going to bleed again soon but I have seen brake stiffeners for the brake booster? I'm after more feel and a firmer pedal with more of a defined stop atat the end of pedal travel. Thanks guys.

  18. Paul what have they charged for the wing mods? I'm after vented wings and they looks nice!! IIreally want louvres as well tho.
  19. More work today on reducing front end weight. This one was kind of weight reduction/Because race car etc etc... Have always like the old skool drag cars with boys panel that have been gun drilled so I though Id have a go! Bumper off Dirty OEM brace Tops row cut.. Start of 2nd row and brace has been wire brushed clean. Alu disc's that have been removed from front end. Disc's on scales. I've stopped now as its dark and Im knackered! lol.. Load's more to come out the bottom and back so I think it will be just under 1KG saved in total. TOTAL SO FAR 11KG

  21. Had a spare hour this afternoon so Ive whipped the now unused from door speakers out More weight go from the front end now Passenger door card off. Ready to go Drivers door done. 2 x speakers and bolts Also removed the rear cargo net and an eye bolt that was not needed. TOTAL WEIGHT REMOVED = 1.1KG TOTAL SO FAR = 10.57KG
