White goes yellow within weeks. maybe just go with yellow then does the black look any different to the stock hoses? or is that just boring...maybe red.

when you're pricing them up have a look at www.event-tyres.co.uk. used them when i had my honda and they fit them on your drive. they were cheaper than buying the tyres on their own. excellent service in my experience and they can often do a bit of a deal if you ring them up as well. this may just be the lazy option though. . . chris

Would you put some Zed one's on? i might try to find some VXR8 burgers just so i could fit in on this site and sneak along to drive outs

sorry for pecking your head as soon as you turn up but i'm quite intrigued by the ECU. . .i haven't been able to find too much info about the effects of upgrading it. will the Haltech give any noticeable effects with just some minor mods like exhaust / intake / plenum etc? if so how much improvement and how much is it likely to cost?

nearly 110k miles and Big Phil says the zed drives better than ever with a well worn in engine. it's good to know

i thought if the bearings were going it made a more whistling noise, and you only start to hear it above 30mph. think mine are going. . .

Well worth the trip! KW variant 3 fitted. Superb upgrade. Phil also swapped my butterfly valve over (got off callibration after I cleaned it)! 600 miles is nothing to 350doc! nowhere near as far as turkey! when i was at ESR with him he was talking about driving to the ring, through france. don't think he was joking

i'm quite looking forward to it. may be a good replacement for the zed if i ever have to think about. . .family it's meant to be a bit quicker than the zed too

your engine looks really good mate, very impressed think the engine damper adds a nice touch. let us know how it feels when you drive as i was considering one its been referred to on other threads as a torque damper. sinbad said 'They are meant to reduce movement of the engine, which increases the initial torque when you press the accelerator and its meant to help make gearshift changes slicker. In all honesty i dont think the Zed needs it. it was me. not a bad time 8:45, guess he must have been going some to do that. is this the same mate with a supercharger fitted? i'd be lucky to get round in 10 mins!! - although i can smash that time on my playstation so i must be a good driver imo the ring is a true all out test of a cars performance, and if the zed can do it in 8:20 potentially, then that's only 1 minute slower than the quickest production car (there or there abouts). cheers for that Michael. appreciate it and hope the kw is treating you well chris

i went up to ESR today and share the sentiment. spent nearly 3 hours there! normally have people calling the authorities when i loiter for that long. big phil and the team were very friendly, welcoming and happy to answer my stupid questions. car feels awesome now with the spacer by the way phil
