hi all, got a toshiba satellite p10-304 from a work mate to try and fix for him, the laptop will not boot up at all, not even to the bios, the HD clicks a few times then nothing, so my guess is the HD is dead. if the HD is dead would this be a suitable replacement - http://www.ebuyer.com/product/131287 the HD in it already is - http://store.linkbyte.com/store/product ... ts_id=5998 like i've mentioned before i don't get to work on many laptops thanks in advance for any help cheers Neo

nah just remove the plastic surround from above the battery, once thats done you'll see a longish black plastic sleeve behind the battery, gently pull it up to reveal the fuses

very common on the Z to go there, had mine welded for about £20 lasted just over a year, had it done quick coz my mot was almost due, since then had the flange removed and a stainless sleeve put over the gap, cost about £50 much cheaper than a full back box

i knew a guy that spend around £26,000 just on a number plate, he had been waiting for years for it to come up for auction then when it did he went a bit silly with the bidding my number plate is A13 for august 13th, my birthday, then 3 letters for my initials got it from dvla years ago for £250, at the same time another company was trying to sell the same plate for £495+vat, so they'd buy from dvla then sell it on to me
