exactly what i did with the headunit, as like you said the plugs clip are underneath and damn hard to get too

got the cable i ordered from fleabay there's 3 loose cables - black wire - ground <<< easy black/white wire - amplifier ground <<< where to attach if anywhere ? orange/black wire - dimmer ground <<< where to attach if anywhere ?

me nephew just emailed me this problem - is it possible to connect a netbook (samsung nc10 with 15pin d-sub out) to a CRT tv which only as a scart input as he's fed up of watching vids on the small screen of the netbook, it's gotta be cheap as he's a uni student have done a quick google but didn't come up with much
