+1 thats the big difference with this and other optomistically priced items - its personal ! and imo should not be aired on an open forum i'm sure this is just an oversight by jay as he is normally a very fair guy if the guy can get £50k ...so what, i believe that jay thinks he got a very good price for it when he sold it its worth whatever you can get for it.... bottom line the thread is not really in keeping with what is generally a very friendly place and may be viewed by newer members as a reflection of the forum

to answer your next question here http://sextonsdirect.co.uk/KS65_kicker- ... -130w.html i know a lot of people say dont bother with the rear as they are only sound fillers but if you speak to anyone that has actually changed them in the Z, they will recommend you do it the fronts are more fiddly to do and require spacers otherwise the window glass will hit the magnet on the speaker and they need to be better speakers e.g. focals

http://liljerk.morpheus.net/350Z/rear_speakers/ You only have to take the top part off to access the speakers, not all the rear as shown i fitted kicker ks65.2 but you can fit ks65, the .2's have crossovers and tweeters

you will have obviously had a play with the tone control (treble bass) ? the rear speakers are the easiest to change and they are diabolical as standard, a set of kickers in the rear makes a big difference

if the same car was in both premises then it would come down to reputation the premises you describe is exactly the same as a car sales near me, old petrol station forecourt etc and the guy is now in prison for clocking cars, this is more likely to occur with a small independent trader BUT if the place had a good rep with a knowledgable salesman then i would rather give him my money than a faceless upmarket Co it really depends on that initial contact, i have had poor experiences with both - a small trader was not interested in the problems i found with the car and gave me the impression "if you dont buy it someone will !!" and at arnold clark i was buying a brand new clio and a Z off them (best part of 30k) and the guy wouldn't let me leave to consider his offer unless i left him a credit card to ensure i returned !! i walked away from both

hmm i would have thought a fluids check would be on there tbh as the pads wear the pistons travel out lowering the fluid level, how many miles have you done since ?
