  1. Here is the actual rule: Thats pretty much it. So could go off at a tangent of Sickboy, leaving the flat walking through a tunnel, as he is walking words of guilt appear written on the walls, as he turns around in paranoiya the words dissapear, carries on walking, images of the dead baby flashes in his head, going into his own flat, begins to cry, stops himself midflow, is confused what emotion to show, erratic behaviour, memories of the baby crying and him doing nothing, words still appear on the walls of self blame and abuse... sorry am just typing and thinking on the spot... could work though, and get in three mins, as when he is dying do quick flashes of a life he could of had with his daughter growing up and being the answer to him kicking the habit, being his Guardian Angel in a sense. COuld shoot it all in black and white for added effect, what you think?
  2. Hmm that be cool, but the name came from Verne seeing it on the bottom of a cup. but be interesting, perhaps Kobayashi is the guy who shot his own family after they were raped and verne works for him?... This is gonna be pretty hard to do, I have a friend who looks like he has taken alot of drugs in his time, hence why I opted for the trainspotting route lol
  3. No not read that, does that follow on with sick boy? Keyzer meaning Usual Suspects... hmm what could I do for that?
  4. That would be good but really tough to get across in three minutes, Im kinda stuck for ideas, I just chose this movie although admittedly never sen it all the way through, what happens to sick boy after the baby dies?
  5. Hi guy need help, entering a film contest, due by middle of March, 3 mins long, has to be narrative and has to have or pay homage to a well known film in someway... I was thinking extending the story of Sickboy from trainspotting after he loses his daughter and he takes the final hit himeself as he overdoses on heroin, images flashes before him of the life he could of had with his daughter as his own life begins to slip away. What you guys think?

  10. +1, things like this just highlight how clueless our government is How Brown can say it's a matter for Northern Rock makes me sick, the taxpayer for gods sake owns Northern Rock and Brown should lay down the rules but he'd so weak we have no chance. > "A weak currency is the sign of a weak economy, which is the sign of a > weak government" > Gordon Brown, 1995 bloody hell how uncanny

  12. not good at all, just pray that those who have families and who are losing their jobs during these times will recover somehow. On a side note, makes me sick how a bank like Northern Rock can almost be going under then the Government steps in with our money and next thing you know, they give their staffs a 10 million pound bonus
  13. I agree with Chris, except when you hit it always keep a spare pair of boxers in the glove compartment, if you make it out alive youll need em

  16. One thing you might be able to help me with - whether to go for the 20 inch or the 24 inch iMac. Ideally I would prefer the 24" but it is a bit big for my desktop. The question really is - does the screen image look better, or clearer. The resolution of the 20 inch is 1680 x 1050 and the 24 inch is 1920 x 1200. Ive had both 20" and 24" IMACS side by side, even though apple dont say it, after callibrating both monitors the 24" is noticably sharper and slightly brighter. I have a feeling that the 24" uses the same IPS film as their Cinema Display, and that is the ultimate monitor. I would go 24 for this difference, but if your budget cant stretch then 20" is fine, but wont be as sharp. If buying, go Apple.com/uk call them up and see what they have in the refurbished area, these are just as good as buying brandnew as still come with same guarantees and is still direct from apple. Ive had a few refurbs from apple and when you recieve its like buying brandnew at a lot less price. If going New then haggle with the Apple seller they usually drop 50 quid off for you. I just updated my graphic card but upon opening found that Apple had already installed the NVIDIA FX 5600 1.5gb thats a very powerful graphic card, way over for what Ill ever need it for. Heres some crappy pics: Here are my work monitors, 2 x 23" cinema display, at home I have 2 x 30" cinema display This is my mac pro, I take this to work when need to edit stuff, otherwise stays at home This is the graphic card Im going to sell, size of this thing is HUGE!! compared to the ATI 3870 that I swapped it with Very nice system, the IMAC 24" is awesome to, especially with virtual PC you cant go wrong
