Sounds like its on Eibach springs, which tend to lower about 30mm front and rear, you could swap springs with someone who has the standard springs... The springs will be labelled with the part number too...

Where was the alignment carried out, we've driven a few 370z and they have all felt fine...

Kyle is right, it will also fit straight on to the OEM Y pipe, we've always married up the Cobra Y to the Cobra system just to keep the system consistent...
