no way I will be there at 8:30 though - I am camping down at Hayling Island on saturday after a beach party.. was planning to stop in at Goodwood on the way home for Supercar Sunday and breakfast.. have to think about this!
somehow missed this thread (just looked at it now as I received a flyer for it with an oil filter I ordered) - might pop along to the event if the weather is decent..
Anyone know how I can convince someone to stand right behind the car when I'm reversing so I don't bump the car behind me - someone soft with lint-free trousers?
mine is red and I think it looks good
think it's a lot rarer than some of the other colours, and a little less porsche looking than some!
(been a while since I posted this picture, and I like it - so here goes!)
zedrush's car gets ALL the looks!
my video turned out badly - sound input set too high and resulted in a mess of noise/feedback whenever anyone accelerated - will try and fix before next time (was my first trial of car computer camera recording!)
good for drifting though - with the crappy grip they offer!
sometimes I wish my Toyo slid a bit more though - not sure the Bridgestone weren't more fun (even though ultimately slower and less safe)..
There are plenty of good internet resources or books about safer driving techniques (eg roadcraft - the police driver's handbook (for an inexperienced driver this could be a good read)). Although I don't religously practice the system detailed in Roadcraft, I did find it a useful read in regards to observation/hazards/position etc.. it does have some notes on skid control and cornering forces etc too
