  1. TGI Friday's is fine I think? As I said, no idea of the area at all..
  2. meeting somewhere half an hour or an hour before would be good I think. No idea where - don't know the area at all.
  3. seems a good deal - if only my car wasn't red.. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-350z-NISMO ... dZViewItem
  4. although when I tried to contact Beavis' source I couldn't and when I got through to someone else there, they were less than helpful anyway there is already a thread active atm about this!
  5. hmmmmm thats what i'm thinking. If you look at the front wheel arch, i think thats as far as i would want it to go, or am i mad? doesnt need lowering in my view!
  6. Yeah wasn't able to replicate that Beavis! maybe if I had spent more time hunting I could have shaved some more off
  7. hmm not keen on that cardboard-effect finish
  8. imported the exhaust/cats/plenum from USA (lee parts for exhaust, kinetix themselves for cats/plenum).. the brake pads and lines and fluid I bought from the traders on here I have posted info already on the price of the exhaust. I think the kinetix were an OK deal too - the exchange rate is soooo favourable at the moment.. will try and get some pics sorted for you although I'm not sure there's much to see!
  9. think you're right! bet my neighbours are going to be happy!
  10. well I had some new parts fitted friday/monday and went out for a drive early this morning (6am - got up specially for it - how keen is that!?). Kinetix V+, Kinetix high-flow cats, Nismo exhaust - first impression is that it's LOUD! .. below 2500rpm no change in volume really, between 2500 and 3200 or so its quite raspy and then the sound really does get good as you push on. There dont seem to be any rattles or whistles or anything, so I trust the garage have done a decent install. The performance low down seems to me to be improved, certainly it is easier to drive smoothly under 2500rpm than ever before (seems more responsive too at lowish rpm) - hard to be objective about it though. Pretty happy with it all, will see if that's the case once I do a long motorway journey.. Also had EBC pads and goodridge stainless lines fitted (and motul fluid) - too early to say how I feel about these as they obviously need bedding in for a few hundred miles. Reckon they will do the job though!
  11. congrats on the Z clicky axle problem is infamous and common - a search should quickly reveal all.. we may have a small gathering on sunday at Thurrock - maybe
  12. yep I am pretty sure I can make it on Sunday..
  13. indicators on the blink? or something more sinister.. I reckon it was definition number 1 - she was furious that some loony in a 350z was trying to snatch her purse as he drove past.
  14. nismo comes in a HUGE box ... HUUUUUGE, could easilly smuggle some mexicans over in it! (the biggest piece of the exhaust is about 2 inches too long to fit in the 350z boot btw) with the exchange rate at the moment, buying from the US is the best option I could find.. best I could find was Lee Parts: Subtotal: $977.50 XPD Shipping: $456.12 Tax: $0.00 Order Total: $1,433.62 = 718.894795 quid at today's rate plus 120 quid or something customs - that makes the total cost around £840 - not bad
  15. It's OK - I will catch up some other time when I have the penguin back would be too depressing to be at a meet without my car!
  16. sorry can't make it - car is still in pieces in the garage having new bits fitted
  17. you're fitting new springs to your PS3? hardcore
  18. ive read that putting the car in 6th gear with the brake down will help - but I'm not sure if that is really a good idea as you would flex the drivetrain!
  19. nice feedback on the pulley set thanks - certainly something to consider
