  1. no idea -but mine is viewtopic.php?f=56&t=36418&start=0
  2. Good luck with the sale, Andy! The SE Mafia is truly breaking up!
  3. bump with some pictures, cos the replacement is here and I was out taking pics of that for the insurers...
  4. ah - forgot to mention I have rear LED lights fitted! (I have the original lights still too if wanted) - I'm sure theres other things I've forgotten too!
  5. 350Z is exempt from legal requirements
  6. thanks! Didn't fancy typing it all out again
  7. Hmm I had a post in the 350z for sale section and now it appears to have vanished? I did try to edit it (to say the airbag light was fixed) - was that a bad idea?
  8. OK airbag light is now off after reseting it - only started recently and hasn't done it before in 3 years. Thanks for the tip!
  9. Thanks Nixy I have no idea why there are so few red ones around, it looks great in red
  10. Hi everyone, my Z has to make way for a new car (I've had it over 3 years and it's time for a change!). The car is well known on the forum and has been 100% reliable and a pleasure to own. The car looks great in red (and stands out from 95% of other Z's!) and sounds even better. I am looking for £10000. 2004 UK GT - Chilli Red with black leather 44K miles - FSH (at nissan dealer) and plenty of receipts since I got her! Running on synhetic Amsoil which it doesn't burn any of Car has just completed P2 service and MOT at Nissan dealer in March 2011 Modifications: (the good part!) Nismo rear spoiler Nismo exhaust Kinetix High-Flow Cats (passes MOT no worries) Kinetix V5+ plenum Haltech Platinum ECU (this is a fairly high end ECU and total overkill - but I got it when I was thinking of installing a turbo) KW Variant 1 coilovers - fantastic suspension, has made a huge difference to the car - corners like it's on rails now but is obviously lower than standard - I have the original suspension too if required. Adjustable rear toe-arms K&N air filter Grounding kit Carbon fibre interior trim - see http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=53&t=8495&hilit=carbon+fibre+pingu2 Upgraded rear boot struts - to take the extra weight of the Nismo spoiler Kenwood CD player running through the orginal bose amp/speakers - I have the original fitment stereo too which was working fine when removed Toyo T1R tyres with loads of tread all round Slotted EBC disks all round - new about 6 months back Goodridge braided brake hoses EBC pads all round with lots of wear left I also have a spare replacement clutch and lightweight flywheel which I was going to get fitted this year - they are new and can be included if you want for an extra £300 or I will sell them seperately. The car is running better than ever and pulling strongly at any speed. The car was remapped about a year ago by TDI - which really improved day to day driveability of the car, with a good increase in low down torque and smoothness. You can find a writeup and dyn charts on the TDI website at: http://tdi-plc.com/blog/category/japan/nissan/350z-ecu-upgrade/ TDI also installed the coilovers/toe-arms and Sam Borgman did a full geometry setup. The bad parts: The wheels (original GT wheels) are scuffed/kerbed and could do with a refurb. The paint on these cars is SO thin that like any Z that has done 44k miles there are some stonechips and small scratches. The condition of the car is good but it's not a new car! Any problems are reflected in the asking price. Price reduced even further!! My other car is back from the shop and the 350z is just taking up space now - price reduced further (yet again) - it's a bargain! I had this car up for sale last year and nearly sold it, but then my 928 broke down again and winter came (and life got in the way!), but now I would like to sell it again!
  11. had my v5 installed about 12k miles (18 months) now and its still in good nick - guess I got lucky
  12. I have KW Variant too and am often grounding over those damn pyramid shaped bumps, although I try and go over with the wheels on them at 1mph and then boot it to the next one - the enjoyment of the booting it makes up for the crawling over.. I've lost count of the times people have nearly run into the back of me not expecting me to virtually stop in the road though...
  13. I use centrafuse too - the plugins are very straight forward indeed, there is even a plugin that downloads/installs new plugins (if you have internet on your car pc): http://forums.fluxmedia.net/plug-downloads/3259-pluginbrowser.html ... I have centrafuse paired with my rather old sony-ericson phone - I use it for internet access not voice though. When pairing you have to enter a 4 digit code on both car pc and phone - if you didnt get that dialog come up then you probably need to unpair/delete your phone from the pc (and the pc from the phone?)..
  14. I did contact Uprev Osiris people before installing my Haltech and they were rather vague about if/how their system would work with UK ECU and I wasn't prepared for the risk of being a guinnea pig (in terms of broken bits or wasted time). You would hope to mitigate some of the risk by dealing with a UK supplier though...
  15. Hello :bye: and welcome ps Chilli Red no arguement He's right you know ^^ Welcome
  16. looks good - got the same kit myself and recommend it some mention of chrome vent trims - cant recommend these, lasted 2 days for me before I ripped them off for their annoying reflection in the windscreen.. I quite like to be able to see where I'm going!
  17. winter is finally ending, and it's safe for penguins to show their beardie heads again! LIST OF CONFIRMED ATTENDEES!! 1. Jerry3167 - Organiser 2. M350ZB 3. Chilli Red 4. Madmarky 5. Darren B 6. Roast350Z 7. Cavey 8. Pingu2
  18. depending on what type of power supply you are using, you may need to run a cable directly to the battery through the firewall (i only use about 60W from a M2-ATX psu and so I haven't done this)... but if you want to do this then see the guide at: http://liljerk.morpheus.net/350Z/firewall/ anyway, nice to see another 350z car-pc coming to life
  19. just a note that TDI ordered the haltech directly/specially from the manufacturer for me and charged me under 1k for it as I recall..
  20. that was me I had nismo exhaust, kinetix highflow cats and plenum already btw... check this thread: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17420
  21. no idea on that particular screen - I am using one similar to http://www.cartft.com/catalog/il/442 - I had to dremmel the case of the screen though as the it was a bit tall (I cut about 8mm off the top). Most 7 inch screens can be made to fit I reckon!
  22. the guys at TDI reckon headers would make a big difference to my car (which is running a remappable ECU) ... if it wasn't such a long job to install them I might give it a go
  23. sorry to hear the news best of luck to ESR employees and to Phil and family for the future
