hiya guys... as some of u know im trying to do a bita detailing on the side for a bita fun and a lil bita cash. my m8 asked me to do his ctr for him, i thought no bother. then i remembered this car hasnt been hand washed ever!!! so let the good times role... todays method of cleaning was BH sufex hd- agitated door sills, petrol cap, boot line, under side skirt, lower rear bumper in the corners and arches with horse n boar hair brushes BH snow foam-left to dwell for about 5 mins CTR thoroughly rinsed down 2 BM wash- DD SN shampoo used megs clay, megs nxt quick detailer as lube AG SRP AG EGP AG HD wax applied with wet sponge wheels cleaned with AG clean wheels, dried and smartwax rimwax applied exhaust wire wooled, megs nxt polish applied. happy days some before pics and after and my favourite shot of the day again im sorry for the poor photos... owner was well chuffed. thanks for looking -ho edit: forgot to mention interior was hoovered with le dyson, interior cleaned with AG interior cleaner and all glass cleaned with AG glass polish in and out

hahahaha this has turned out rather funny. i think ian is just trying to point out yes its a lil pricey but his thinking is "u pay for what u get". he likes his brands, u dont. each to their own.(cheers ian btw) im a dreamer??? ive had 3 pretty firm offers so maybe not.. fair play to u tho, u have gota bargain and respect to u on that front m8. like many have said it looks like mild steel on your exhaust, so be a lil careful in our winters and keep an eye on it.. i mean look at the standard Z zaust.. its mild steel and there pure crap!!! so be careful. ps: was there any need to $hit on my parade?? what have i ever said or done to u? plz dont play the hard man behind a computer screen. if your gonna be cheeky about your comments then keepem to yourself or how about you voice them to me in person the next time im up in scotland?!? i just dont understand your ethos behind why u think im a dreamer? for eg you bought your car for more than 10k, are u gonna sell it to the next person for 20p or the price of the same reg corsa.. no you wouldn't, simple. we also get the fact that u cant afford/appreciate the work gone into creating this exhaust. we have a member who recently described how much work actually goes in to making titanium products so maybe take that in to account. tbh i wouldnt sell u it even if u offered me 5k for it. actually come to think about it, i wouldnt sell u it at all. its clear from your comments that u need the pennies alot more than i do. so i ask u, why did u bother paying 150 quid for an exhaust when u could have just plugged sum holes in your standard exhaust? you could have saved that 150 quid. best of luck to u in life with finding your cheap and cheerfuls m8, im glad u go to sleep easier at night knowing u have saved 1550 quid pimms and lemonade anyone?? -ho

hi guys and girls... well im trying to gauge some interest in the sale of my exhaust. i just fancy something new and im thinking about getting a custom T.D exhaust for my car. well as many of u know i've got the Amuse R1 Titan. quite possibly the best handmade titanium exhaust on the market. weighing only 8kg and producing such a lovely individual note. i waited over 10 weeks for this exhaust to arrive from japan (which seemed like a life time) this exhaust is circa £2.5k now obviously im not expecting anywhere near that sorta money... so if anyone is interested.. drop me a pm with an offer and see what happends. im in no rush to sell

Yeh I agree on the wheel arches.. Completely forgot about them tbh..running out of time aswell. I got finished for about ten last night. I was asked not to tyre shine aswell. Op had a bad experience with a dealer lashing too much on which equaled major loss of traction.. -ho

as per title.. i've been detailing a few peoples car of late.. making a tidy sum i may add forgot to take some before shots but the car essentially hasn't ever been clayed or cleaned properly since well the owners had it.. so here are some pics of the fruits of my labour!! ps: i made 80 quid and a pack of twenty Marlboro reds which aint too bad for about 6-7 hours work.. well the process was: Bilt Hamber surfex HD diluted 2:1... literally no wax and i needed road salt off the car can u believe!!!! door sills and petrol cap cleaned with vikan brushes Bilt Hamber snow foamed hosed down, re applied surfex hd (the car came out white after foaming) washed with 2bm sonus towel dried clayed with megs quick clay kit.. then re clayed with BH light clay SRP polished by hand layer of DDSN re layered after an hour (i decided to have tea at this time) layer of EGP applied as the EGP was curing... i set about the wheels... i went at each wheel 4 times.. yes 4 times with AG, Megs and fairly liquid n muc off wheel produce via another vikan brush.. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr and the end product as shows ps: im so envious as to how black cars turn out!!!! also i apologise im not the best camera man and my 2 most favourite pics siimply stunning thanks for looking.. -ho

just the G220 is twice the price of the D-as 6... is it purely because megs have a bigger name that kestrel or is there more behind it? i noticed... tres shiny bits good work im also a lil confused by which compund and pad blah blah.. ps: i was reading about it at 5 am in the morning so it wasnt sinking in hahaha

well could i ask the nooby detailers out there like me which machine polish is everyone using and why.. it seems to boil down to 2 choices.. kestrel or megs g220?? or you guys being a man and using the porter cable?? obviously i know its easier using D.A polishers etc.. -ho
