  1. Imagine how they cope when someone brings a Nissan GTR in? They would probably say, 'that is not a Nissan Sir'
  2. Take it back and get them to sort it
  3. Platinum Nissan at Box (Near Bath) top dealer. Bought my first 350z Roadster from them. Popped in recently to get a crush washer for the engine sump nut as I was doing an oil change. They gave me it. I know it cost pence but thought it a nice gesture
  4. Yeah, do that anyway bud. Ha Ha Ha!! Thing is, I did that WAY before Ian did Won't be doing it again.... On one of my old cars, I used a dremmel and ground down the inside of my plenum/manifold intake. To be fair, this was because the original design was pants on the Volvo 440 Nothing like that I can do? Hey hold on a mo here.... I wasn't in control of HT leads, ask Bennett Not a dig mate. It is such an easy mistake to make. We have all done it. HT Leads always used to be numbered at manufacture but they have stopped doing this in recent years. After your experience, think it is a good thing for everyone to do
  5. Number up your HT Leads just in case you get them the wrong way around
  6. If you didn't use the NOS you wouldn't need them
  7. What gets me is the lack of punctuation in everyday life. At work, secretaries are told not to put any punctuation in letters.............why not? Punctuation makes a letter easier to read. I have only one thing to say...........................b*ll*cks
  8. Once you have test driven their car and have fallen in love with it, it is a lot harder to walk away from buying one. Heart over the head syndrome
  9. Women do not understand that the kitchen table doubles as a work bench during the Winter months..................................
  10. Hi, Hope your results come back with a solution in mind to your back problem. Just thought I would explain the difference between a CAT Scan and an MRI. A CAT Scan uses x-rays to produce quite a high resolution image of what is being scanned. Cheaper to run than an MRI Scanner and is older technology. Good points: A lot quicker and not quite so enclosed, a big plus if you hate enclosed spaces. Bad Points: Radiation does nothing for your health. Ask the people around Sendai in Japan on that one. Living around there for 1 year is equivalent to having a CT Scan. Also, the quality of image of the soft tissue not as good as an MRI. An MRI Scanner uses a different technology (Magnetic Resonance) to jiggle about the cells in your body around a huge magnet to produce an image. Good points: No known danger to your health. Better/High quality image on what is being scanned. Bad Points: You are put in a enclosed space (not good for clostrophobia) and costs more to run (only bad for Health Authority's Budget). Here endeth the lesson
  11. Don't think this will go down well with his other half .......................but a great idea
  12. And 6x6. Six pieces of info with maximum of six words. Top advice .
  13. Works Wheels are the business . Was in the process of buying a set for my last Roadster until the insurance company would not insure the car with them fitted. I am still considering a set for my current coupe. They are the dog's b*ll*cks of wheels
  14. Be careful with Chemical flushes. I would go for double oil change if you really have to do it, but to be honest, use a decent oil and do the regular oil/filter changes and it shouldn't be an issue. Oils have moved on a lot in the last 10 years
  15. Who is she? (Cannot be bothered to Google it )
  16. What has the driver/insurance company said the car was? I know it by the by really, but what would the cost difference be between the kit car and a real Ferrari to get repaired?
  17. You are probably right there. The previous owners were, to put it mildly, less than perfect. TATA need to sell some more Tetley Teabags to secure their future
  18. Top result What are you going to say to her when she says she likes it and wants one?
  19. whos owned by VW, as far as i am aware Jaguar land rover are owned by TATA the indian automotive company. That is what I thought until a BBC1 News article the other day said that it had been taken over by Volkswagen. I'm not sure what article you saw but TATA definitely own Jaguar Land Rover. BBC1 Evening News. They were talking about the WHAT Car top reliable cars and they put Skoda and Jaguar 3rd. Maybe the news presenter got the 2 companies mixed up. Have to say, TATA are shutting things down so may not be a bad move if Jag was owned by Volkswagen
