Japan update. Spoke to friends there today. Tokyo whilst 'shaken a bit' is ok. Life goes on as normal in Tokyo but things are much more serious north of Sendai. Hopeing to get out there soon to help with the relief effort........................anyone else interested in coming along?

Direct Line came up best for me this time around. Was not the cheapest but a lot better than the majority of companies. I guess you really only know how good an insurance company is when you have to make a claim

I have purchased a couple of pressure washer's over the years. The best one by far, which I still use, is the value one from B&Q. Think it cost me £20 and is brilliant. You do not always have to pay loads of money to get good stuff Love the Gadget Show but they do not always get things right

Sorry to hear this. Get the ball rolling now. Make sure you get your CV up to date and get it out there with a handful of specific agencies who will work for you in finding a new job. I know you have a year to go but start now and it will give you options. As for changing career direction, it is hard enough getting a new job in an industry you have experience in yet alone changing carrer. Think positive and you will succeed.
