  1. There is one Rich . I should pay more attention
  2. A lot of these type of cars went in the scrappage scheme. Real shame as there are really only newer cars or real heaps left and nothing in between. Best of luck with your search.
  3. Happy Birthday Nixy We should have a Nixy Slap Smiley
  4. Try Swinton. If your excess is high they also have seperate excess insurance which covers your excess up to £1k in case of an accident which is your fault and you cannot recoup it. If your car is pre 2006 you have to declare the Ray's as an extra Found this out on my first Roadster. Better to be safe than sorry .
  5. Just picked up his thread. Your Porsche looks good The stone chip reduction is very good. I will let you clean my car anytime
  6. Welcome . Parking sensors are a must on a Roadster. I am speaking from experience here
  7. £330 a month to run a car............................. They could do a lot better, even with paying for fuel etc. REally needs to be over £500 a month to be worth while. If it was me I would keep the van and have your Zed for the weekends.
  8. It was amazing how much cheaper insuring my daughter on her first car was compared to her male counterparts. I guess with the new equality laws on insurance talked about recently, this will also end. As for £3.5k for insurance on a Kia Picanto......................................
  9. +1 You could always sell your services as a Gigalo.........................ok may be not then, you wouldn't make much money
  10. Never believe anything you read in the Sun This has been bubling along for quite a bit now. It is kicking off all over again as oil that has been found there of the East and South Coast.............on British soil. The Sun were very much late in the day reporting this.
  11. Maybe a few extra seconds to think about it ... but then still no
  12. Is he coming to Wales? There will be a few there - and Saturday afternoon is a quiet afternoon so someone might let him loose in one PM him I would suggest and ask the question
  13. Not kissing you with sick in your mouth! I bet you would if he had taken out in his borrowed GTR
  14. Thought I would throw this into the mix http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/ne ... ntina.html Now this is something worth throwing money at in my opinion
  15. The next car I get will have to have four seats. Then anyone who wanted to come out for a test drive with me could come . If someone could let Captain try out a broken in 370z I think he would like it .
  16. H5 where have you been? Long time no see.
  17. Oxenholme station is on the main west coast route and is 10 minutes away. More than happy to pick anyone up if they want to get the train up. Even if there are a few of you there are plenty of hire places nearby, enterprise are usually pretty cheap. Plenty of taxis too if arriving later on in the evening. If you havent got a tent i can arrange to buy them locally at reasonable prices too. Nice one. Thanks for the info and the offer to source tents.
  18. Interesting comments for and against. My question is where are Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland etc etc who all have very capable Air Force's who could do the job. Why is it up to us? I am all for standing up for people's rights, but every time, without fail it is us that get involved with a cost to us, the British Taxpayer. Let's put it another way. 112 Tomahawk Cruise Missiles were launched at a cost of £330k each. We have not been told how many of these were British ones but let's say we launched 30 of them at a cost of £10 Million pounds to the UK Taxpayer. It costs approx £1 Million Pounds to run a Special Needs School per annum. So if you used this money to look after them you could run 10 of them for a year. Worth thinking about Do we see other European Union Members contributing...........no! That is what gets me. Other Countries need to take their fair share of costs. We are meant to live in a democracy after all aren't we? Only when it suits I think. In the past we were a superpower, but we are not anymore. Well done to France, Italy and Spain for doing their bit. Thats my view anyway. I wonder what will happen when the Falklands kick off again, because be sure it will. I wonder how many people will help us then.
  19. So the question is 'did you buy one' ?
  20. Here we go again! Why is it we are yet again getting involved is someone else's problem. It is not that I do not agree with David Cameron's centiment about trying to stop what is going on in Libya and to it's people, but why is it that we always get involved. Our military have been hit hard enough recently with cutbacks and we are fighting an ongoing campaign in Afganistan. We are not a superpower and it is about time we realised this What do others think or am I just starting to become like Victor Meldrew?
  21. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Flock of Seagulls
