Quoting what processor a computer have doesnt give any indication of what the machine is like overall. A point manufacturer's like Dell exploit to the expense of layman's. They just stick i7 and a huge price tag on it and let people think its mustard. What about the motherboard, the speed of the ram, cache, the graphics card etc. A chain is only as strong as the weakest link! Doesnt matter if you've got a liquid nitrogen cooled, superconductor processor if it's linked to piece of @*!# components! Well said. It is so easy to build your own PC if you have a good quality motherboard and good instruction book. Would never buy an off the shelf PC again, would always build my own

As has already been said it depends on what you want your computer to do. If you are a Graphic Designer than it has to be a Mac. Personally I hate the way Apple tie you in to buying more and more of their stuff........it is just huge Marketing Hype and for that reason would go with Microsoft/Windows 7 every time.

I wonder how many new cars actually have these driving lights fitted at the moment. In the Winter months think they are a good idea

Had an e-mail through from Halfords who stated that all new cars from February 2011 must be fitted with the above. They also suggested fitting them to your car if it is not new Anyone else heard of this or is it because they have a large stock of lights they need to shift?

If you can try and do a trickle charge. For some reason newer batteries never fully recover after going dead flat. A trickle charge may, fingers crossed, bring it back to life.

Your advice was not stupid. Jump starting an older car without a Cat is fine You just need to make sure that no Cat is fitted. (Tried looking for a cat smiley could not find one.lol!)

Never jump start your Zed or any other car with a cat converter (which is most cars now) as you will wreck the Cat From experience, even when you have started your car, unless you are going on a long journey, put it on a trickle charge overnight please tell why very interested, never heard this before. When you jump start a car, a certain amount of unused fuel will go through the system and through to the Cat, covering the inside of it. When the car fires, hot fumes will go though to the Cat and ignite the unused fuel in the it. Your Cat is then wrecked

Have to say that the azure blue is a great colour, but think that blade or universal silver is much better

Just seen this thread and wondered if I could ask a question. If you have an early 350z with the phone holder in it (UK Spec), can you replace this with the bluetooth module? If so what parts are needed? ShortPaul was asking me the other day. Any advice greatfully received

Price on application It is still as old as the hills, whoever owned it You could even run it on chip fat if it was a diesel
