  8. If it was a 3.0 Litre Capri or last of the 2.8I's I would say save it. Otherwise tell him/her you will take the £650 and hopefully you will walk away with £600. A 'bird in the hand is worth two in the bush' the saying goes.
  9. Here's a thought. Pollyanna using the pressure washer to clean your car in a see through blouse
  10. I bet his pocket, if not his pride felt that
  11. Direct Line came up best for me this time around. Was not the cheapest but a lot better than the majority of companies. I guess you really only know how good an insurance company is when you have to make a claim
  12. I have purchased a couple of pressure washer's over the years. The best one by far, which I still use, is the value one from B&Q. Think it cost me £20 and is brilliant. You do not always have to pay loads of money to get good stuff Love the Gadget Show but they do not always get things right
  13. C u at 7.30 am Paul Sorry that you have to wait to get your roof done. Good price though and especially if recomended by friends
  14. I have just paid the full £435 for the year ................. ................ but I think its still worth it for the enjoyment grin factor +1
  15. Admiral well expensive this time around for me
  16. TVR Chimaera is a great car. My mate has one. Great as a second car but not as a main drive. Chimaera's eat clutch bearings though
  17. Sorry to hear this. Get the ball rolling now. Make sure you get your CV up to date and get it out there with a handful of specific agencies who will work for you in finding a new job. I know you have a year to go but start now and it will give you options. As for changing career direction, it is hard enough getting a new job in an industry you have experience in yet alone changing carrer. Think positive and you will succeed.
  18. Okay, nothing on Combe's Website about a start time. Paul, if you can get to me at 7.30 am we can then get up to the Cross Hands at Old Sodbury for 7.50 am to meet up with everyone else in their car park Hope this is ok with other members. We can then go in convoy .
  19. Gets busy quite early if this event is anything like Japfest. I will look into further and report back
