exactly! the UK has a clock on the pod. the JDM doesn't. I changed head unit to an alpine Ipod unit and unbelievably it doesn't have a clock on it - drives me mad in winter when i can't see my watch!

After looking for a while I decided to check out the Porsche Boxster S. After driving the Boxster S I went to drive a 2006 '56' 350Z with the better interior and more power. I know you all love the 350Z so I'm not going to flame it or anything, but all I can say is that I immediately put a deposit on the Boxster S. It is absolutely sublime and so well planted on the road that I have paid way more for it than the 350Z cost and got less equipment (no xenons or bose). But the way the car drives and sounds I think it was worth it. Anyone wanting to move away from a 350Z in the future should definitley go for a Boxster S.

To be honest i can't be bothered to read any more. They seem a nice bunch of guys on there - one or two have been out of order to him and he has fairly retaliated in my opinion. We get similar things on here where certain people are a bit harsh - guess that's just the way it is. He should get a zed anyway! Poor man's GTR according to someone on there!

And after the flaming he got I think the following was reasonably justified: "Yes the 350Z is not as good, but sometimes its just so attractive because you can have one almost-new fully loaded with every single option for £17k. Its faster than 3.2S so really if you think with your head and not your heart then it makes sense. But that niggle at the back of mind says "Its not a Porsche...." so I look again at Porsches and what I get for my money seems so insignificant. I have owned many different brands of cars in my life and been on many forums but I think the attitude of some people on here totally tarnishes the Porsche brand. You all own Boxsters because its the cheapest entry into the Porsche marque. So really you're just as much a bunch of wannabes as the next person. You're like people who have a 1-Series 1.6L and want to rub shoulders with people in M3s. I wonder what you'll be like when Audi just take all of Porsche's technology and make their own Boxster cheaper and better. " Touche I say!

Me too Although having gone in a Boxster S once - I liked it - the interior was superb compared to the crappy Nissan interior BUT I would still have my zed simply because I see Boxsters ten a penny every day and nobody bats an eyelid at them. Good motor though.

mmm same as mine..........and were your uk clocks a particular year? And one other thing - did the clock on it work? It drives me insane not having a clock on the jdm pod.

Same at home - had LPG as no gas in village, cost a fortune. When I moved house went onto Oil as it was half the price of LPG now its as bloody bad! At this rate i'll end up with a moped and a sleeping bag!

ah, it suddenly went into my brain! Thanks Rich! Now i'll try to forget it quick before I realise how bad it is! I can't believe the price of bloody fuel has got to where it is not without there being riots in the street! It's 122 for super at bloody Tesco now. One of my pet peeves is getting back in my nice clean car after i've washed it inside and out and putting my mucky wet feet on my clean mats. Now call me a little bit ocd if you like but I actually have kicked my shoes off in the past before i get back in it so I don't get the floor mucky!
