  1. be careful! Have a great time!
  2. I know I'm a bit guilty of being a bit too chatty at times but I don't mind being locked when I am. I do get the point about new people wanting to post a further query in an old thread though as well.
  3. don't give up on the insurance just yet. I take it you've tried Adrian Flux? Also try Keith Michaels PLC. I got some wildly varying quotes from all over the place for both uk and import cars. Tesco who were my current insurer at the time wanted about £1,500 plus a tracker! Keith Michaels was about £600. Oh and try RAC as well. They gave me the best quote but unfortunately I couldn't insure with them using the vin number and didn't have a reg number at the time or I would have used them for definite.
  4. I got my car from Jurgen at JM-Imports - it wasn't so much the fact that you can get a cheaper car because in reality they are not that much cheaper to buy - the reason I imported was because I could get exactly what I wanted colour wise etc with extremely low mileage - there are simply more cars to choose from in Japan. I had no problems at all with the process and my car was immaculate. feel free to pm me if you have any queries. www.jm-imports.co.uk
  5. I once got approached by a man in Argos carpark - he has just bought a power tool! the babyseat and family estate car were a bit of a give away though!

  13. Thanks but we were meaning the clock within the trip computer not in the head unit.
  14. I know he's my son and all that but I am not sitting in that chaved up piece of junk pretending I have got a puncture! He has break down cover so if he pumps it with air and goes up the road a mile he could ring them and see what they can do.
  15. i found this site which sells 'Dare' wheels which are the same make. They do an internal wheel nut removal tool but there is no picture. If you scroll down to the nuts and bolts you will see the details. Does anyone think that is the tool? http://www.unit-8.co.uk/acatalog/DC2_Wheels.html
  16. You must be joking - I am too soft! In fact as I am sat here doing this he has just shouted through the door "how long will tea be?" I've been at work today he hasn't! Oh well!
