good idea - I've got some white vinegar somewhere for other household uses so i'll give it a try and report back.

It is spotless thank you Sarnie (helpful as ever)! Can't see any writing on the wipers or blades other than Japan and R2 on one and R3 on the other. The windscreen actually looks darker where the wipers don't sweep.

I have a definite arch mark on my windscreen where the wipers sweep across. i don't know if this is how it's supposed to be or if it's actually been caused by the wipers? There are no scuffs or scratches - it just a different colour.

Got up this morning to find I'd been sharing my bed with this monster - just to put it into perspective - the quilt cover button is about 1/2 of an inch across! and it left one of it's hairly legs behind on my bed
