the problem with the DVD's not working is that the screen is NTSC (like in usa) whereas we have PAL, but the region code is Region 2 (like us). So you can't play region 2 or region 1 DVD's. You are correct that you can play Japanese DVD i.e. from japan! For example my jap DVD for the Sat nav worked fine. You can buy english speaking DVD's from japan but they are few and far between. Likewise you MAY be able to buy a sat nav map in Japan that is of the UK but it will only speak to you in Japanese! It's hard to accept I know - I have just ripped out a state of the art TV, voice activated sat nav system and DVD but it really isn't going to work. The best you can hope for is that some of the bits can be used elsewhere.

Looks great - you can't beat the feeling after all that waiting (and I should know!) of turning up to find that the car looks ten times better in the flesh!

I think option 2 would be more entertaining but I still think you're greedy. Didn't know you had an A3 as well - wondered what you went to see clients in! Maybe you should get an old banger to make them feel sorry for you!

done that, they say BT own the line so we need to sort it out with them, take out a bT contract then cancel it! BT man not happy and said "Im telling you now you can only have a 12 month contract off us". I may as well cancel my Talk Talk altogether and start again with anyone else. If they are incapable of moving a customer up the road then they can shove it!

FFS! Finally got through to BT who have basically told me to F off Back to speak to Talk Talk!! Neither of them want to sort it out so what now?

My phone and internet are both with Talk Talk who despite not having a brilliant repuation have been ok so far. The problem is that now we are moving house in a fortnight and it is NOT straight forward. We are only moving up the same street but apparently as BT still own the line (even though we don't pay them) we have to cancel our Talk Talk contract, take out a BT contract then either wait 3 months to cancel it and go back to Talk Talk or buy ourselves out of it. This means we also have to change our number! In the meantime god knows how I get my broadband. Talk Talk told us yesterday that BT have but a disconnection notice on our line but we haven't even spoken to BT yet! I've been trying to phone them this morning but can't get through! Anyone else had this problem?
