  1. They have had full order books for a long time now. Carbon fibre body work means that it weighs only 1060 kg!

    Battery size

Why not buy one off the internet? lots of sites sell them.
  5. You might achieve a different oversteer/understeer balance by running different tyres front and back. The natural handling balance on a 350z is understeer for safety. You know your own car well enough to appreciate any changes in balance and decide if you they are to your liking.
  6. I like to fact that have left space in the engine bay for a factory fit supercharger!
  7. Looks much better in silver. Saw one in white at Silverstone and it looked very slab sided indeed.
  8. I don't think this kit is produced any more. Some suppliers have them in stock but I personally would not buy a discontinued kit.
  9. Useful site for such matters: http://www.tiresizecalculator.info/
  10. An NA route would be to fit all the bhp adding mods and then get the ECU reflashed or fit a piggy back ECU and then get on the rolling road for a set up that maximises your gains.
  11. I have one and use it all the time. Does the job ok but it is not very well made as it has sharp edges.
  12. Lots of Turbo and supercharger kits. 350bhp is viable through NA too (up to around 400bhp is possible). Turbos can give over 700bhp! You can even buy complete engines up to race spec. 350z is tuners heaven Cosworth do some lovely bits. Check out: http://www.350z-tech.com/zwiki/350Z-TECH
  13. Some not so good experiences of Bonsai cars around (although they are not the worst importer). Jap import cars miss out on many of the options on UK cars, e.g. security. Plus suspension of UK cars has been tuned for UK roads and ECU tuned for UK fuel. Look up all of the differences between Jap and Uk before making a descison.

    Flywheels

There are disadvantages to fitting a lightened flywheel (NVH issues) as the 350Z is designed to work with a dual mass flywheel. Gains in performance are minimal.
  15. I use Yellow Stuff after finding loads of rave reviews. Great on road and track. They warm up quickly and bite very well. These stand up to great punishment as they are standard issue for a racing formula. Good quality and price.
  16. Info from GOLDTRACK: An open pit lane track evening on the full Grand Prix circuit. We'll run from 17.30 to 20.00 subject to daylight. - Price from £139.00 I am likely to book-up for this.
  17. An MRev 2 is a lower plenum modified by Motordyne. Check their website for details. You didn't buy the 'wrong' car as with this and the spacer there are very good gains available expecially in terms of torque.
  18. Your within Vortech's bhp guide figure for running a 350Z without upgrading internals. But of course the supercharger puts extra pressure on the engine. Check your PMs. C
  19. You can't take out the reaction time as that is the time after the lights change but before you break the timing beam. I recorded a 13.9 Car: 350Z GT UK NA '06.
  20. I'll be there on Sunday. Hopefully doing a few runs. Anyone else attending?
